There was an article on CSNChicago.com about the Bears that I found interesting. It gave team stats in some offensive and defensive areas for the Bears compared to teams which made the playoffs this year. I was actually surprised by the info provided and encouraged in that if we could rank that favorably with the 2016 playoff teams with 19 players on IR, what could we accomplish in 2017 with a healthy roster and key additions made this opffseason in FA and the draft? It is a long offseason.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed. Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville. The incident happened near 2nd South & Lea Avenue. A female victim was also found dead. According to Don Aaron with the Metro Nashville Police Department, no suspects have been taken into custody. sucks donkey balls. I was extremely disappointed. The sound system was way, way too loud and it feels like a tomb inside. I like how the newer domed stadiums have windows (Indy, AZ, etc). I will say the concessions and facilities are much nicer that Soldier but that is probably true of any stadium. Peace

Rams released WR Isaac Bruce. St. Louis asked Bruce to take a pay cut and he refused. The Rams have put themselves in awful cap condition with poor free agent signings the past few seasons, and now have to cut their most tenured player. Bruce has plenty left in the tank, and will instantly be on San Francisco's radar. If the Rams are smart, they'll make him another contract offer.

The only good thing about the bye week is not having to be tortured by that offense. I would take the Jets offense over this. The 5-1 start was fools gold. We should have been 3-3 and now 3-7. I'm really only thinking at most two more wins. We are not beating MIN or GB. The other 3 games are JAX, DET, HOU. I don't think we can beat DET right now either. I think they beat the Jags no matter what, but don't know about HOU with Watson. Just an unbelievable turn of events over the last month. How many losses in a row is needed for a coaching change? We are at 4, with GB next, that seems like 5. How long does this need to go on before something is done?

If the typical 5 technique is 6 foot 5 and 300 lb I can't see currently on our roster who plays this. Can Goldman drop 30lb and be quicker, can Lamar Houston play this position but may be bit short. Mitch Unrein has this size but shouldn't start for us. Who is available in the draft because it doesn't like my wish is going to happen that we trade for Wilkerson.
