While there's the immediate notion that Rosenass clients are "waiting it out," don't forget that Dez Clark is a Rosenass client and he was able to get a deal done today. That means the other 3 are definitely waiting until free agency. To me it seems incredibly likely we'll lose all three. Brendon Ayanbadejo--He told the Sun Times he was happy as hell in the pro-bowl to actually get to play linebacker again & he knows he won't have this opportunity with the Bears. He sounded disgruntled the Bears never gave him an opportunity to move off of special teams. This reminds me of when Dante Wesley signed with the Bears because he wanted to the chance to play cornerb…

Not even going to mention all the bad things in this game but a few good things I noticed were. - Ogunleye is playing like he wants a new contract - Tillman looked pretty good for his first action of the season - Johnny Knox looks to be a weapon at different times throughout the game - Hester looked like a #1 receiver.

Bears | Holt says he would be good fit for offense Comment (0) Sat, 13 Feb 2010 06:46:12 -0800 Updating a previous item, ESPNChicago.com reports free-agent WR Torry Holt (Jaguars) said during a radio interview Friday, Feb. 12, that he would be a good fit for the Chicago Bears offense due to his relationship with new offensive coordinator Mike Martz. "I think I could fit in really well with that ballclub and add a really good veteran presence," Holt said. "In (Martz's) system you've got to be able to run," Holt aded. "That's one of the things I would tell those guys, you better be able to run, and you better be cerebral to learn, and you better have thick ski…

Dude has terrible vision. Should probably have another 50+ yds this year. What’s the cap hit if he’s cut at the end of the year?

This is from Biggs trib article, 10 thoughts, which is usually one of my favorite reads. I really like Herring and I said all off-season that our LB corps were total stinkers and was a huge position of need. I'd say it is the weakest position on the entire roster. Herring would seem to agree. I bolded one part for added emphasis.

Released by the Jets. Should the Bears? My only question is how would a move like this affect money that ARob should be getting? Personally I’d rather see what Miller has to offer. https://www.si.com/nfl/2020/10/14/leveon-bell-jets-contract-lasting-impact

Rejoining Smith with Bears the perfect situation for Marinelli By: Larry Mayer | Last Updated: 1/16/2009 4:07 PM LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Rod Marinelli leans forward in his chair, remote in hand, staring intently at a big-screen television in his Halas Hall office while breaking down tape of the Bears defensive line. Spend a few minutes talking to the team’s new defensive line coach and assistant head coach and it’s clear that there’s no place he’d rather be. Marinelli interviewed with the Seahawks and Texans but couldn’t pass up the chance to work with Lovie Smith in a defensive system they learned together in Tampa Bay a decade ago. Rod Marinelli bring…
