Lance Briggs is a perennial Pro Bowler, Brian Urlacher is one of the better middle backers in the game, and newly named starting strongside LB Pisa Tinoisamoa has me wondering what the Rams were thinking in releasing him. Tinoisamoa (does this guy have a nickname yet) has quickly become a fan favorite. His speed and big hits have endured him to the fans, and his versatility (he played weakside LB in the past) could pay dividends in the long run. According to Rotoworld, the Jets are inquiring about Brandon Marshall and the Eagles are shopping Reggie Brown. Denver is making it sound like Marshall's not really available (read: they're trying to drive up their price) but I'm not sure we'd want a guy like that anyway. Denver probably wants a 1st and then some, and Marshall's not worth that much risk. On the other hand, as much as I like our young receivers, I could see trading a 4th or something for Reggie Brown. The Denver Post reports Denver Broncos QB Kyle Orton (finger) is in danger of missing the team's Week 1 game. According to two league sources, Orton's finger was not fractured during the team's last preseason game, but Orton did suffer an open dislocation of the right knuckle, which would explain the blood dripping from his finger and the excruciating pain he endured as the dislocated finger was popped back into place.
