But the new offensive coordinator said it's just by chance that receiver Johnny Knox has been targeted considerably more times than the other options in the offense after nine practices. well, here we go. if it turns out to be true... if this scandal with ross (dolphins owner) and now the owner or high management personnel of the browns? (what other franchises are involved) comes to light that NFL teams were TANKING games per instructions from the owners/management this isn't just a tiny blip on the radar screen this is tracking a full out attack with ICBM's. this means that a number of extremely important things come to mind and it opens up a gigantic can of worms for the owners and the hierarchy of the NFL corporation as a whole. 1. He was an undrafted free agent that signed with the bears this year. I can't find any articles that show his age. Anyone know is age? Interesting prospect, 6-4 310 LG from Yale. Was an Olympic weightlifter from South Africa and started all 4 years at Yale. Also an all star rugby player. Watched some tape on him and every play he put someone on his back. He is addicted to watching film which should allow him to assimilate to the NFL quicker. He loves football, smart ( Yale degree) and hard worker. Sounds like player that could stick.

Jeremy Langford was released by Baltimore today. That didn't last long. Since Howard has a shoulder injury and Cunningham a knee, should the Bears reach back out to Langford? Can a free agent be signed to the practice squad or does he have to be on the active roster? He knows the offense and if Howard shoulder doesn't improve, Langford can step in and be at least better as a receiver. If we can sign him to the PS, I am for it.

I think we all can look at the team and see many areas with loads of optimism. So what is our weakness? I think if Briggs isnt up to par, we could have issues at LB. The improved front will help a lot, and that will make the back end better, but the LBers will be most responsible for stopping the run. A lot of question marks at that position, so hope it turns out good.

Nothing unusual here. Extended contract holdout and soft tissue injury. It's not serious but it seriously complicates his chances of being a starter in week 1 and I doubt he'll play this weekend.
