Since Pace is going to go with the BPA, here is my list of players I would be happy with with draft value around that spot in the draft. Henderson/RB Sanders/RB Sternberger/TE Oliver/TE Howard/OT McGovern/OG Jordan/OG Miller/edge/Ala Walker/edge/Georgia Savage/S Hooker/S Johnson/CB/Ken Long/CB Obviously there are some higher ranked players that would be good, but I doubt if any of the top 50 would drop that far.

This is going to be a fun and exciting season! I'm fired up for football and its only July!!!

Tremendous win for the Bears. We're 2-1 after going on long road trips to both coasts in back to back weeks. We've done this with a depleted offense missing two Oline starters against the best front 3 in the NFL (Jets), and against one of the better Dlines (SF) and the WR injuries we all know about. We still had good pass protection most of the game but had a few missed assignments throughout the game. As this could help the Giants get a late win or two and possibly enhance Bears draft pick. We are likely to get a top 5 pick, but in a pretty tough spot since we will likely beat the Browns. Hard to do much better then 5 or so, unless we lose out. There are a lot of really bad teams.

Houston has 4 sacks since returning at the beginning of the month. Do we try to sign him for next year? Given the issues we've had at OLB, he seems like a good option. Peace

Since we signed Marshall(WR) and Campbell (QB) I think going after Williams will cost to much, so would go after Kamerion Wimbley and put him at DE instead....saves lots of money and gets a good pass rusher. Now with that we might be able to land either Grubbs/Nicks (G) and or Winston(OT) which would make our Oline better than las year. In the draft get either Floyd or Hill in the first and we are good in the Offense side of the ball. Then there is talk of adding Hayden at CB, Carlson at TE, Landry at safety we might have a great team next year.

Just as a side note; where it appears the Bears are plodding along in FA, Denver is setting up for another run (or two) to the Super Bowl. Added TJ Ward and Aquib Talib today and looking like Demarcus Ware will soon be joining Von Miller along the front seven... Yikes.
