Similar injury as what Freeman was lost for the year on. Brutal since they were are two starters...2 weeks into the season and the injuries really piling up (2nd consecutive year). Football is such a brutal sport.

It was really hard to evaluate the team as a whole with so many players injured. On offense, no Monty, Pringle, Jones, Kmet, Reiff, Griffin, O'Shaughnessy, Harry and Patrick. At least 4 starters out. On defense, no Quinn, Muhammad, Blackson, Smith, Gordon, Vildor, Graham, Jackson, or Cruikshank. At least 5 starters out. Fields, playing against first teamers, didn't turn the ball over. This may not seem like a big deal but no fumbles or INTs is a positive. He looked much better overall, but with so many starters out, the entire offense is a work in progress. PRO DAY RESULTS: Free safety Quentin Scott impressed scouts from eight teams at Northern Iowa's pro day on March 31st. Scott (6-3 7/8, 224) worked out as both a defensive back and a wide receiver and put together a really good workout. He ran a 4.40-second and 4.45-second 40-yard dash, had a 35-inch vertical leap, 10-1 broad jump, 4.18-second short shuttle, 6.88-second three-cone drill and completed 13 bench press repetitions at 225 pounds. His arms were measured at 34 5/8 inches. Ten of Scott's teammates and two players from small area schools also worked out indoors on Mondo track.

You know what? I check this site almost daily. But, I don't usually opine. But, all of this stuff I'm hearing about Cutler has me pissed. Did these guys watch a single game this year?? The dude was getting KILLED back there all year. He never quit, bitched or complained. The only time he left a game is when he was knocked silly behind some terrible line play. As bad as it may have appeared, we were only down two TD's, and they think he chose this time to quit? In the NFC Championship game? Gimme a freakin' break! Sorry to vent fellas.

Not even going to mention all the bad things in this game but a few good things I noticed were. - Ogunleye is playing like he wants a new contract - Tillman looked pretty good for his first action of the season - Johnny Knox looks to be a weapon at different times throughout the game - Hester looked like a #1 receiver.

Since Pace is going to go with the BPA, here is my list of players I would be happy with with draft value around that spot in the draft. Henderson/RB Sanders/RB Sternberger/TE Oliver/TE Howard/OT McGovern/OG Jordan/OG Miller/edge/Ala Walker/edge/Georgia Savage/S Hooker/S Johnson/CB/Ken Long/CB Obviously there are some higher ranked players that would be good, but I doubt if any of the top 50 would drop that far.
