http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Super-...alue-picks.html Bears are 17-1, which is 10th overall and 6th in the NFC. Based on odds alone, these would be the 2012 playoff teams: NFC: GB, PHI, NYG, NO, SF, and CHI AFC: NE, PIT, SD, HOU, BAL, and NYJ

Im not sure where the Bears started the season but our odds of winning the Super Bowl are 20 to 1. Looking at the odds? KC is 33-1,Houston 12-1, Denver 4-1 I think with Clady being out for the season, Denver has dropped a little with there expectations. We will see how they do against some of there tougher opponents, any more key injuries and they might not make it. I suppose you can say that about any good team thou.

Hard game to pick, I don't like either team but my logical side wants to pick Seattle 24-20, but my gut is telling me NE 27-17. What do you think? Also, with the news about the Lynch extension, do you think Seattle can extend Lynch, make Wilson the highest paid QB, extend and give a raise to Wagner, and somehow resign Maxwell? To me Maxwell seems like the odd one out.

Simeon Rice Says He’s A “Super Hero With No One To Save” Posted by Mike Florio on May 13, 2009, 7:05 a.m. Former NFL defensive end Simeon Rice wants to drop the “former.” And he’s telling anyone who’ll listen. Unfortunately, the group of curious ears has yet to include one or more of the 32 franchise that constitute the league. Most recently, Rice made his case for a comeback on Sporting News Radio’s The Monty Show. “I’m really in playoff shape right now, it’s bananas that I’m not on a team right now,” Rice said. “It’s great in a way but its frustrating. I feel like a freak of nature, like a super hero with no one to save.” Specifically, Rice …

This might be one of the worst SBs in quite some time, offenses playing scared. Maye on pace for a top 5 "worst SB passing performances" of all time. Grogan had 177 passing yards in SB XX. Maye has 48 yards and has been sacked 3 times (19 net passing yards). The worst net passing ever was DEN in SB XII with 35 lol. He needs 65 passing yards to pass Kerry Collins for 5th worst of all time.

Who are your picks for the superbowl? Call me crazy, but I see the Jags comming out on top of the AFC and the Cowboys winning the NFC. So I am going with the Jags over the Cowboys in the Superbowl.

    * CAUTION - LONG * So the latest trend with Fields after the draft is that he has the worst supporting cast in the NFL. I get that the Bears didn't draft a WR in the 2nd but would drafting Pickens, Pierce, or Moore in the 2nd instead of Jones in the 3rd really change anything? I highly doubt it. Going into this season, the Bears already have 4x players who had over 50 targets from last season (Mooney, Kmet, Pringle, and Montgomery). Why does that matter? Well I am glad you asked. I looked back at two recent 2nd-year QBs that made significant leaps in the 2nd seasons, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. I am not saying Fields is going to win MVP like Jackson did, but c…

They're sitting at #3 and nobody will trade with them. The QB they want is not graded out as worth the #3 pick, but they're not completely sure he's going to be there at the top of the second round.

  13. Just heard the newest spin on the NFL draft from "sources" close to the Bears. Supposedly Pace was told to get a QB no matter what with the first pick. He is not the man in charge when ownership is making the football decisions. Why does everything have to be a conspiracy. From Fox didnt know to this now. The Chiefs (edit:had -Cardinals) were praised for trading away their future for Mahomes and they said you do that for a QB that can be your franchis for 10 years. Bears do it and the world collapses.

We need to have him out of our divison becasue if he goes to the 49ers he will be throwing to Manningham, Michael Crabtree and Randy Moss. And we play them this year!

  17. Started by ASHKUM BEAR,

It's been a little quiet lately (besides reading the "great debates" by Wesson and Jason), so lets start a discussion on players that may surprise us a little by contributing more than we might expect in 2012. I'm gonna give an offensive and a defensive player that I think will make a mark on the 2012 season. Offensively, I think we will see some great plays this year and I hope Alshon Jeffery makes a mark, but the one guy I think that will surprise us all with making big plays is TE Evan Rodriguez. I think he will rack up a lot of YAC and be Cutlers check down and them two will develop great chemistry. Defensively, I think Shea McClellin will also make h…

  19. If you all were watching MNF tonight, I guess the league is announcing that they are going to make a new rule effective immedietly that you will be suspended for a "Devastating" hit or a "Blow to the head." There having a big debate about it now on ESPN. This is a joke, a flat out joke. You can't legislate hitting in football. Now everything that these guys have been taught about hitting they can no longer do. So basically the next time Urlacher comes and lights up Roy Williams across the middle he's going to get suspended, even if he doesn't make contact with the helmet. If this crap goes on for more than this year I might give up watching the NFL. What this is is a tota…
