Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

  1. He is on the older side - but relatively healthy player up until this past season where he tore his pectoral. Has a good relationship with Sweat and certainly could be an impact addition on the interior of the line. Prior to last year though the guy pretty much always played and generated a real nice pass rush from the interior. I would be very supportive of this move - sign him to a 2 yr deal with a 3rd year of dead money or something.

#Bears have hired Stan Drayton as running backs coach; he spent last 4 years at Ohio State, helped Buckeyes win national title in '14. https://twitter.com/ChicagoBears/status/563464062881640448

Was just on NFL Network segment, totally nuts. They are by far and away the worst draft so far.. "The top 3 picks, they were all there on our Board in the 20s" HA!

Honestly, I had never heard of ESPN Chicago until recently, when it was reported that ESPN Chicago was so successful that they were branching out into new markets, including here in Dallas. That was the first I heard of it, and frankly, even then forgot about it. Then I am reading ESPN and Clayton's stuff about the Bears camp, and saw the link for ESPN Chicago. There are some nice articles in there I had not seen before (Olsen & Gilbert), as well as a camp "tweeter", which is where I heard Harrison would return to practice today. Anyway, for those who have never been to the site, http://espn.go.com/chicago/

What else is new? I have issues regarding Tevin Jenkins... ...and none of it is performance related. To the beginning where he came in outta shape, as could've been the issue with the back last year. We already know his college coach had a hard time motivating him to workout. To the now, he was deemed healthy to play Sunday. He lasted one play. Does he know the difference between hurt and injured? Does he have the heart to tough it out? Don't get me wrong, as I never want to see a player out there that feels he's injuring himself, never. But, my goodness he was designated healthy by the doctors and he went out with the same damn thing. One the…

Does everybody have to agree on everything for a team to be successful ? When a football Org. re-evaluates it's self in off season does everybody really tell the truth ? Is there retribution if you stand up say " were going about this the wrong way " ? What I'm getting is at the Angelo and Co. think tank . Drafting heavy on defense ( seems forever ) is okay if your offense is well above par and you have good depth all around. But the problem is, there only maybe 3 offensive players on the Bears who could start on other teams. Two of those players you didn't draft. In comes the big shake up and Tim Ruskell ( Director of player personnel ) who's the spi…

Now I don't know if this is a team thing or just the website contributors, but if it is a team thing, then this would seem to support the notion that Forte will not be back. Easier to justify to fanbase if rookie RB is your RoY over others. Just speculation. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/article-1...0e-5aa9e812b8f9

Look back at the 1985 Bears with a pretty sweet video, this definitely makes you feel good looking back at this.... it's worth the watch even if you aren't a Bears fan. They really did DOMINATE the NFL. http://www.chicitysports.com/2009/08/14/re...tness-85-bears/

  14. I know this isn’t the soft tissue injury that he had with us that caused him to miss time that could have been attributed to him not being in football shape but as per NFL.COM he hasn't recovered from his shoulder surgery. Still glad we decided to move on from him.

Did anyone see the GB-ATL game on MNF? The announcers were gloating over how good Aaron Rodgers played, but no one said anything about the fact that he was throwing to wide open receivers and at times had 2 or 3 guys to choose from. That has nothing to do with Rodgers, he had the easy job. It was the scheme and play calls. You could tell that the routes played off each other to create artificial picks and rubs and cleared space in specific areas of the field. This was what every play basically looked like. Just watch the game highlights on NFL.com, Rodgers doesn't have to do anything. The scheme is working, putting the defense on their heels, and making them ov…

  18. https://nflmocks.com/2018/02/04/chicago-bea...on-to-the-wind/ There are a couple of moves I do not agree with but overall a pretty good off season. Trading Bullard for a 5th, not a good idea. Drafting James Daniels/OC with #22 seems like a reach. Not cutting Cooper. Otherwise, like the overall picture.

Watching some Notre Dame and Stanford football and the draft hit my mind. With our resources limited the next year or two with higher picks, do you see the Bears trying to extend or re-sign Massie at RT? I know a few, like myself would live to see us draft a long term solution, but Massie could buy us a couple years and keep continuity. We have a nice developmental project in Cowherd (sp) also. Thoughts?

For one reason or another, I ended up on Jamarcus Webb's Facebook page. And, let me tell you, it's definitely full of his personality. So what's wrong with that? Allow me to extrapolate... He doesn't seem to be a very serious person. Everything seems to be a big game, a big joke to him. It all seems to be about smiling, doing internet contests, and giving away free tickets. He makes regular, late-night runs to fast food restaurants - something I doubt someone like Adrian Peterson or Thomas Jones does. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't like his attitude. For that much money, I expect more. For that much money, he should be more professional, more dedica…
