He currently works for Wanny but has a pretty good resume. Moon indicated that he might be one of the guys the Bears first targeted and are most interested in. I'll be interested to see what happens. I like his resume and his history of developing some pretty sucessful QB's (both in college and the pro's).

I apologize in advance if this topic has been thoroughly dissected, but has anyone read Trestman's book? Les Carpenter's Yahoo article has me wanting to get some more insight into our new chief.

The Bears signed a WR!!! He's 6'4 HE is Cutler favoite target!! Its Brandon Marshall!!!!!!

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ Demetrius Bell will visit Packers this week Posted by Mike Florio on April 3, 2012, 10:01 AM EDT Getty ImagesFree-agent tackle Demetrius Bell is getting around. Which means he’s not getting the kind of offer he wants. His free-agent tour will continue this week with a visit to the Packers, according to Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Bell most recently visited the Steelers and Eagles. He was a seventh-round pick of the Bills in 2008.

Gotta love the national media. We are now in the top 10 of most power rankings and our odds to make the playoffs is 3rd best in the league (behind LAR and KC). According to DVOA, we have the best defense in the league (by far) and the 2nd best team overall. We only have 3 games against teams that are in the top half of the league (LAR, GB, and NE). Those are ironically all home games, and the Rams is December 9th (Bear weather).

My Pick To Click On Offense Was Javon Wims And So Far He Has Shown Promise. On Defense Like Bilal Nichols And I Am Holding Out Hope For Kevin Toliver.

This sucks. One of the loopholes to the Practice Squads. As long as players are signed to 53-man rosters, you can lose your PS players. We just lost Whyte. Surprised we didn't put Trevathan on IR immediately and brought Whyte up. He was a 7th Round Pick.

Dante Culpepper sent out notice that he will be retiring from football. For those who wanted him as a badckup for the Bears, FORGET IT! LOL

I'll add this to my list of concerns about giving up draft picks for Boldin. I know the conversation died after we traded for Cutler but I still hope someone trades for him as it will make it more likely a WR we like falls to us. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rumors/post/Do...?urn=nfl,157402

Mike Holmgren joins the Browns Posted by Mike Florio on December 21, 2009 6:30 PM ET Former Packers and Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren was expected to give the Browns an answer on Monday regarding whether he'd accept an employment off from the team. He has given them an answer. And the answer is yes. Holmgren has agreed to become President of the team. Mike Keenan, who previously occupied that role, will become the team's CFO. "We are pleased to announce that Mike Holmgren has agreed to join the Cleveland Browns," owner Randy Lerner in a statement released by the team. "We will spend the rest of the week finalizing the details of the agreement and …

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=7501 Cutler has developed a friendly rivalry with Rodgers. While they’ve battled on the field, Cutler has helped Rodgers’ younger brother, a junior quarterback who transferred from a junior college to Vanderbilt. “He’s a guy who’s been great to my little brother,” Rodgers said prior to a Bears-Packers Monday night game in September. “As a big brother, it’s much appreciated the way he’s made my little brother feel comfortable down there and get the lay of the land down there in Nashville. “It’s only helped to strengthen our friendship. I pull for him 14 weeks out of the season, and hopefully he…

Could we get so lucky that the Lions would hire him... LOL!! I know not a chance, but honestly it sounds like something that sad organization would do..

So if my understanding is correct, tomorrow is the day the NFL can announce a change for the Bears vs Pats game to be moved to prime time Sunday night. Any chance they do?

Below is a screenshot of the lowest separation of skill position players through 1st 2 weeks of the season (no qualifiers applied). Bears have 3 of the top 5. I don't know whether the QB decisions play into the separation or if this is a pure stat - but not even the best QB's can consistently deal with this many people NOT getting open. All of these parties need to step it up - the really scary one is Miller - he is supposed to be more electric at getting open; Robinson has always had less separation than the league but made up for it with fundamental awesomeness.

time to look for a new kicker, possibly round 5-7 unless a really good FA is available. if we were in the hunt for the playoffs, this year he has cost us at least 2-3 games. any field goal under 50 should be automatic. if you can't hit xtra points yer done. this makes 2 out of 3 years with us he has sucked. time to move on.
