Even though it isn't Bears related, its a pretty huge piece of news. Peter King is reporting that those close to the situation indicate that they believe the injury will prevent him from playing this season. Obviously they'll know more once the MRI results are back.

We signed tom nelson as a FS from the Bengals, but as i was reading up on this guy here are some things that make you wonder and go hhhuuuuuuummmmm???? First off he runs a 4.38 in the 40 yard dash (Hester runs the same) and he plays on special teams as a gunner and return man in college, he runs north and south with his good speed, as a FS he breaks on the ball well and is a good tackler...do you think he makes the team????

Is this guy ever going to show up? Is he hurt? I don't think he's getting constantly double teamed but I could be wrong. Harrison has more of an impact than Harris does at this point in time. I think I heard Tommie's name once in 2 games so far. Anybody else worried?

Has anyone got any ideas why Tommie looks such an average player. I see effort but is that enough. Pulling him from the starting lineup has had no effect at all, has i thought this move would fire him up to reproduce his playing to a probowl level or is it our scheme. Or should he be cut to release money for offensive line

Will Tommie H. play tonight,or is he out because of what he did? If he is playing i wonder if he will go out with something to prove. I HOPE he comes out with some fire,it might just happen. With everybody seeing what he did on tv and his decline in play and many wanting to get rid of him,he might play his ass off. Plus what Vernon Davis said. It will be interesting.

Just a series of questions, but please feel free to add. Now that the season is over, can we please find out what is wrong with all injured players. Tommie Harris His knee (or knees). How bad are they? If he requires surgery, can he please have it NOW and be at 100% next season. As he did have flashes of brilliance and he does play hard, the only reason for his downturn in numbers and performance must be the injury. I think if he is 100% next year, we will be ok on the inside of the line (with whomever playing next to him) Vasher Did he have surgery yet? Will he be back at 100% Again, why the drop off in production? Urlache…

I hope our staff is smart enough to sit Tommie for another week or two. When feeling good, he is a beast. Idonije outplayed what Harris has done lately. Lovie, sit Tommie! It's looking like we can make a playoff push and a healthy Tommie Harris will go a long long way. We have enough average guys to fill his shoes right now, we don't need Tommie average.
