Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

  1. As I posted earlier by selling my tickets to this game I guaranteed a win. Maybe I should buy sixteen game tickets next year and then sell them..... on second thought, my wallet would not allow that strategy. LOL

If the Bears management takes the cheap, I mean gutless, I really meant stupid way out and retains Lovie and staff I want to see only two maybe three changes made. 1) Fire Pep 2) Fire Harry Where's Turner you ask? I keep him. Kill me all you want, but hear me out. We all know Lovie is a lame duck, so whoever the new OC is, is lame duck as well. Also, as our OL began to gell our O started to produce. We all know it's too much too little and too late, but can a new OC deliver dramatic success in one year. People bring up up Martz: we all need to realize his playbook is complex and can not be mastered in a year. Also, look at his track record with Detro…

We need to sign at least 2-3 new Dline. An LBs There are alot of guys available. http://www.theredzone.org/FreeAgency/2010FreeAgents.aspx Kapman - Perfect athletic guy that may actually get a pass rush. Plus hes comin off a crap year playin OLB so his value should be down a bit Marques Douglass - also an option as pass rusher Wilfork - guy i always wanted over Harris, but lovie knows best (ya) Casey Hampton - not a bad pickup for a another 2 years. At least comes from a winner. Demeco Ryan - Id throw the bank at this guy.... He and briggs could power the D for a long time...

  7. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...ments_Container Everyone on this site should check out this piece. Really good stuff from Gannon. Dang it, I really want Rich as our QB coach after seeing his quotes and comments. Just makes a ton of sense.

Im not gonna get into too much here, but the more i read the more i l ike. Hes an offensive guru and we have the tools to be great. A recieving RB, athletic TE and a gunsliingin' QB. Plus my take is next season he can become the head coach and Rivera can come back....

  11. Vikings will do "offseason study" of Peterson's fumbles Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 27, 2010 8:31 AM ET Minnesota's final two losses of the season had something in common: costly Adrian Peterson fumbles. The annoying tendency turned into a full-blown meltdown in the NFC Championship, and Vikings coach Brad Childress admitting that fixing the issue is an offseason priority. "He needs to hold on to it, but I'm sure he and [running backs coach Eric Bieniemy] and our offensive staff will do a good job of kind of troubleshooting that and seeing what we can come up with," Childress said. Perhaps Childress watched PFT Daily before his presser, beca…

He currently works for Wanny but has a pretty good resume. Moon indicated that he might be one of the guys the Bears first targeted and are most interested in. I'll be interested to see what happens. I like his resume and his history of developing some pretty sucessful QB's (both in college and the pro's).

ContactFeedsAdvertisingPrivacy PolicyFinal eight plan reduces Peppers' options by 25 percent Posted by Mike Florio on February 1, 2010 8:36 AM ET During two Radio Row segments in the 7:00 a.m. ET hour with our good friend Todd Wright of Sporting News Radio, Todd and I talked about the status of Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers. With the Panthers now snubbing Peppers and his agent, Peppers likely won't be slapped with the franchise tag again -- and thus he's destined to be an unrestricted free agent as of March 5. So he'll get a $100 million contract, like defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth finagled a year ago, right? Maybe not. Though it only …

Former Bears player Terry Obee from the `93 team attended our church today. He's the new WR coach at Western Kentucky University which is in the city I live. The name sounded familiar but I didn't really remember him until we got to talking and I told him I was a Bears fan. He was at Stanford last year with Harbaugh his former QB. He came to WKU with Willie Taggert when he got the head coaching job here. Always nice to meet a former Bear.

My question is, assuming this season goes off without a renewal of the CBA and there is no resolution to the problems keeping ownership and players from agreeing, could we see scab football again in 2011? I was reminded of that horror by the fact that Peyton was our QB back during the CareBear era. Is there something in labor law that would prevent that this time around or can the owners declare a deadlock and hire scabs to fill the uniforms and break the union?

  17. Bears hire Tim Ruskell Posted by Michael David Smith on February 23, 2010 7:49 PM ET We noted last week that the Bears were poised to hire former Seahawks General Manager Tim Ruskell, and now the deal is reportedly done. Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Ruskell has agreed to become the Bears' director of player personnel, and the deal is expected to be announced in the next 48 hours. Ruskell and Bears G.M. Jerry Angelo are friends who previously worked together with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although he apparently won't have the same title, Ruskell is filling a void left when the Bears fired senior director of pro personnel Bobby DePaul. Ruskell …

http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/...ey/Default.aspx Bills bid goodbye to TO, Reed, Denney Feb 27 2/27/2010 6:39:52 PM | More Mark Gaughan of the Buffalo News reports the Bills announced tonight they will not offer contracts to soon-to-be free-agents Terrell Owens, Josh Reed and Ryan Denney. The announcement does not come as a surprise. Owens, at age 36, does not fit into the Bills' overhaul plans and would not have wanted to return to Buffalo anyway. Reed and Denney both are eight-year veterans of the Bills who served in backup roles. All three will become free agents on March 5.
