Since it's a division rival I figured this mattered enough for its own thread.

Not talked about on this board at all is how Paea blew up Adrian Peterson on his sack of McNabb in the endzone. I saw it during the in=game reply and laughed. Paea doesn't even slow down or change direction and Peterson looks as if he doesn't know what hit him. However, finally seeing our 2nd rd pick contribute in this way gives me more hope for the rest of the season.

First I have to admit the free tequila shots at the bar made this game feel better than it was. Cutler: With another Oline combination in front of him against a strong pass rush threat he kept his composure and stayed within the game plan. Overall a good game with no turnovers. So this is old news, but hey it's the offseason. After the Vikings canned Childress they hired Bill Musgrave - the Falcons' QB coach - to be their offensive coordinator. I don't know how Musgrave is as an Xs and Os guy, but his track record developing QBs is seriously impressive. If history's any indicator, the Bears might have to watch out for the Vikings' QB (whoever it is) in 2011. It looks like Kwesi is quietly going into tank mode. They shed Thielen, Kendricks, Peterson, Z. Smith, and Cook, but kept Cousins. They drafted Addison in the 1st, who will just replace Thielen's production, so there is no real gain there. They signed Murphy at CB and Davenport at Edge, but at most those are a push, if not a downgrade from Smith (sacks leader) and Peterson. With Cook gone, their RB room is Mattison, rookie Dwayne McBride, Ty Chandler, and Kene Nwangwu. That may be the worst RB room in the NFL. Per Vaughn McClure's twitter, VJax and Avril were our top 2 targets, but Avril is tagged. I don't put a ton of stock in this, as I really don't think Emery is leaking things yet. There was another suggestion from one of McClure's earlier tweets than the info might have come from a player, which would make it seem like it's just speculation. But hey, it's a juicy rumor!

I seen an article that we brought him in town at the last minute. He is Vinston Painter a OT out of VT. We like him at OG. He is very athletic, and with the new scheme on the OL the athletic guard fits it better. James Brown, Garza, not so much Slauson and Carmi. He is said to be around a 4th rounder and not many teams worked him out. He needs to learn more, good upside, and not well known.
