With the addition of Byard (and subtraction of Jackson), the Bears are rolling out: Johnson, Stevenson, Gordon, Brisker, and Byard as the starting secondary with Terrell Smith, Greg Stroman, and Jonathan Owens as the first rotational players. This guy is very athletic and especially so when you consider he's 6'3". He's also very raw and has one year of experience at CB. He's clearly a practice squad candidate this year. He's going against inferior competition in his highlight tape but his burst to close stands out on several plays, so does his aggression. You all know I love defense and I like football players who have an aggressive edge in their game. Denmark is knocking players to ground all over the field including those who are trying to block him. If he has the work ethic at a minimum I can see him becoming a special teams coverage ace and replacing McManis next year. Maybe that happens this year…

I got two: Houston-Carson and Grasu I think the numbers at S catch with DHC. We have Demps, Amos, Bush, Jackson, and HJQ and Hall moving over there from CB last year. I think at the bottom of the roster the team picks the player who can fill in both at FS and CB and that's Hall. HJQ and DHC depart although DHC could end up on the practice squad. Grasu has to expand his game into the backup OG and there he has some very tough competition. I like what Kush did last year as a backup and I expect Morgan to earn a spot as a backup OG. First, they would have to take care of business, winning no less than 5 of their last 6, preferably all 6, which would be more than they have won in their first 11 games. I came across this video of Khalil Mack and his father visiting the Mack assembly line. The video was made back in the summer long before we ever thought he'd be on the Bears. It's 21min long but it gives some good insight to the player and his family values. I don't know what he drives these days but in this video it is clear what he wants to be driving. I thought I'd share it for those who might be interested.

LMAO, what a bunch of losers, complaining about the refs and their kicker when their QB throws 2 INTs late. Love had 2-3 nice throws the entire game, but also had 2 INTs and probably should've had a 3rd. Even with a 100 yard rusher, unless the receivers were wide open, he couldn't hit them. To me it's funny, because the dude is going into Year 5, he is not going to improve that much, if any.
