We knew what this season was going to be. Within that thought there were varied growth and win expectations from the Bearstalk family and media experts. This will be the single biggest off-season the Bears or maybe any other team has ever had. Do we know of any team has had the number one pick, an emerging QB and 120 mil to spend? Do you expect playoffs, winning record or vast improvement? What gives Poles and Eberflus the thumbs up?

Surprise here to see Fields ranked among the top 15. Also shocking is seeing him ranked ahead of Rodgers (14) and Stafford (22). Just loved the broadcast teams they had in a lot of different itinerations. Howard, I. Cross, Dandy Don, Jimmy the Greek and a bunch of others. MNF and NFL Today was worth watching just to see the highlites of the games you could not see anywhere else. She was always one of my favorites, period.

It's funny how much crap this guy takes because he is not Kelce or Kittle in their prime. Sure he is probably not a true top 5 TE, but he is constantly in the top 10 in most categories, yet it seems like people treat him like a dud. Here is where Kmet is at after 4 weeks for TEs: 5th in receptions 5th in yards T-2nd TDs T-2nd 1st Downs Since the start of 2021, Kmet is 11th in receptions, 10th in yards, T-9th in TDs, and 12th in 1st Downs. A bit early, but what else can we do to kill time waiting for camp to open? There was an article on NFL.com predicting the outcome of every regular-season game to be played in 2026. The authors of the predictions were two guys I'm unfamiliar with, Ali Bhanpuri & Tom Blair. These guys were generous with their predictions for the Bears. One had us at 10 wins; the other at 11. Both had us winning the NFC North title again. One had us going into the playoffs as the #2 seed; the other as the #3 seed. What really surprised me was how optimistic they were compared to so many other doom-and-gloom predictors. Yet they both had the Bears losing to Carolina in our season opener.…

I never realized how many players are free agents next year. My guess is that we'll see some mid season extensions to go against this years cap. That will leave additional money to make splashes, if needed. I'm not a cap guy, but it makes sense to my limited knowledge. Thoughts?

Did anyone else see that injury? You hate to see injuries at all, and that one did not look good at all. This is why Arob needs a new deal. Cohen down on a fair catch, other players dropping like flies and he is working on the last year of his deal with nothing guaranteed after this year. Also, do you think Dallas would be desperate enough to trade for Trubisky? He would actually fit in that offense and they have a solid running game and some playmakers in Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup. What do you think?

All this information, I have come up with a new plan. Instead of the big score, lets add several smaller contracts. Jeremy Mincey/DE/6-3 270-57 tackles-8 sacks-1 intec-2 knockdowns-4 FF and he is only 26. Tracy Porter/CB- with all the contracts NOs has to worry about, he could be gotten for a song and a definite upgrade for us. Laurent Robinson- at 26 could be turning into a #1 with 11 TDs in 54 recp. Eddie Royal- a cheap addition that could score big with Cutler. Jason Jones/DT-Tenn has some cap issues-last year as a DE he stuggled, but put him back at DT. Im only going to discuss positions of need, not all the guys that are or will be draft eleigible in 2015. Cam Erving: started the year LT, but switched to Center to help the team as that position was an issue. Running game, line protection and offensive efficiency improved. Show how versatile he is and can multiple positions. Keep an eye in him. He came to FSU as Dt and coaches told him his future is at OL, he trusted the coaches, so he's definitely a team player. Redshirt senior, so he's definitely mature and physically ready. Would be a great replacement for Roberto at Center PJ Williams: Guy can cover and play the run as a cb. So have read many stories about all the incorrect test results for many teams yesterday. Nine, ten, 12. That has to but a team into WTF mode for awhile no matter how good you think you program is. And it also will show how well do they have a handle on things. Because there is a more than likely chance that will be a reality before the season is over. So I guess a good dry run to see how things were handled and what contingency plans are in place.
