Trade every player not on a rookie deal outside of ARob. I would put Turdbisky on IR and would even consider firing Nagy. Let Pagano take over and bring Vic back as DC.

He's disappeared. I know the Bears exercised the 5th year option on him but, at this time, he's not playing anywhere close to that value ($13.2 million). My understanding is the Bears could simply cut him before the beginning of the league year and would not have to pay him. Is this correct? Peace

OK, this year is going the way it is going. Down the tubes fast. And with our current QB's on the roster I don't see any way they will help us in the future. They will keep playing Mitch for the rest of the year but I don't see him as the answe going forward. We have an above average defense and it seems like good offensive with the running backs and wide receivers on the roster. If Burton can get back to normal health he is serviceable for the next two+ years. The offensive line is a problem but I think with a 2nd round pick or two it will work its way into above average. Two me that leaves us a QB short with only a few years window open for a good playoff run. …

This is the first game in a while that the Bears are not favored, go figure lol. I am surprised it is only by 4 points. Philly is an even more Jekyll and Hyde team than the Bears. In each of Philly's wins, they've scored over 30 points and in their 4 losses, they have allowed 24 or more. Can you believe the Bears signed Glennon and drafted Trubisky in the same offseason and then benched Glennon after he had 4 straight games with a TD pass, completed over 63% of his passes and 3 games with over 200 yards passing (1x 300 yard game)? For as bad as we thought Glennon was (which he was), Trubisky is actually worse. Trubisky has 0 TD passes in 6 of his last 8 games (not including MIN game where he left with injury). Trubisky now has as many games with less than 200 yards passing than he has with more than 200 yards passing (16 games each). Glennon, in comparison has 13 games over 200 yards, 9 games under 200. So we traded Howard (making $2M) to then sign Davis for $3M a year. However, due to that signing, we lost a 4th round comp pick for the loss of Amos. If we cut Davis by Saturday, the Bears would recoup the 4th rounder and still have the 6th rounder for Howard next April. There are many good players on this team, so let's fix it. My thoughts are simple and always have been. We start by fixing the OL. Spend two high draft picks on OL. Spend one on QB. After that, draft speed on D. Clearly, Nagy has struggled this year and nobody is looking at Helfrich. I suggest Nagy hire a more conservative OC to balance his mad scientist style. I believe Helfrich is not a counter balance. Then, Nagy has to listen. On defense, Pagano needs to find his inner Fangio on defense. We heard how aggressive Pagano is. I haven't seen it. You cant fire Pace this year. Without a first round draft pick, you cannot entice a good GM to come here. We need to dig out of the Mack trade hole before someone else would hitch their star to this team, so Pace is almost certainly secure for one more year. And you cant really bring in a coach of any quality when your GM has one year left either. So Pace and Nagy stay, or Pace fires Nagy and promotes from within. Then, after next year, anything is possible. I'm so angry we are here. And there is a lot of blame to go around, but I think Nagy deserves the most, followed by Trubisky - and therefore Pace.

Ok it's gotten past the slump buster stage. I thought he was being sarcastic the first time I heard him. But he is serious. It's time to just bench him and hope they keep losing so he can come back in a week or two and think it's not just my fault. Which it's not. Lions 3-4-1, Bears 3-5, this game will more than likely decide who finishes last in the division. An important factor is next year's schedule. The last place team will get ARZ and WAS, while the 3rd place team will get LAR and NYG, actually a pretty big difference. Stafford is supposedly a game-time decision. Wow, I thought Trubisky was bad. Goff looks even worse thru 3 quarters. 15-28, 53.6%, 1 INT, 3 sacks, 1 fumble lost. Also, Goff never looks to run, he has one run longer than 5 yards, so the Bears won't need to have a spy on him. TJ Watt has 1.5 sacks, so if Mack can't get going against them, I fear he never will. The Rams defense is taking away the running game and making Rudolph beat them threw the air. I can see next week going to be an ugly game with either team scoring 20.
