See article below. I got spammed for comparing Anthony Miller to a young Antonio Brown, but it's surprising more people have not seen the similarities. In a way, Miller is already ahead of Brown. Brown took 3 years to get to 7 TDs, Miller did it in his rookie year with a bum shoulder. Brown was not WR1 until his 4th season, so Miller still has time to get there. Robinson, Miller, and Wims are all 25 and under. That would be a great trio to ride on for the next decade. I watched a few games on Game Pass and besides Floyd looking overmatched on every play, Mack didn't seem to have the same explosion like he did last year. He was a Tazmanian Devil in 2018, but in 2019, it looked like he lost a step and wasn't as powerful. I know the defense for his regression was these double and triple teams. However, even when he had one on one matchups, even against a rookie, he didn't really do anything special. My fear with some of these guys is once they get a payday, they cruise. A guy at my office just said he overhead on the radio (this in LA mind you...) that this game is being thought of in similar fashion for the Lions as the 1st game back from Katrina was for the Saints. I was listening to a radio show this morning where they talked about the concept of going for the Best Athlete Available instead of necessarily the BPA. They were speaking about the "you can't teach height/weight/speed/etc." stuff, and said that instincts could be taught through repetition. What can't be taught, however, is a 4.4 forty when a guy has maxed out at 4.65 or something like that. You might be able to shave some time here and there, but ultimately that's his speed. It's seems like Washington had some things he wanted to try out today with some funky handoff zones. It's obvious the team didn't grasp the concept. He didn't do himself any favors. So far, 38pts, 438 yards, with five plays over 30 yards.

Year one: he inherited a team with a terrible o-line, cap hell and no number one receiver. Not much to do, but fix the cap and try to accumulate picks.
