Starting strong-side linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa went down in the first quarter Sunday with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and is day-to-day, according to an NFL source. It’s being reported by Moon Mullin that the Bears would trade Jordan Howard and the #8 overall pick for Jarvis Landry, the #11 pick and a 3rd rounder. I actually like this. Howard doesn’t fit our new offensive scheme as he’s a terrible pass catcher. It’d also be nice to get a 3rd round pick. The downside is we’d need to sign Landry to a long term contract extension as he’s been tagged. I’m also not thrilled about dropping from 8 to 11. But this would take care of our most pressing need.

The NFL is giving us all free access to NFL game pass for last year. We can watch every game from last years glorious season again and again!!

Some of this is dependent on who they resign. I am going with them resigning Jenkins for one of the OG positions. With Braxton's injury, the OLine is going to need a new LT, new OC, and a new OG. They need a real TE2, with Allen probably leaving, they will need a new WR3, and they will need a new rotational RB. Depthwise, they will need another OT, OG, and OC. That is 9 spots on the offense at a minimum. On defense, they need a real Edge2, another DT, a CB2, and another S. Depth wise, they need another DT, Edge, CB, LB, and S. So for the 53-man, that's also 9. So I see about 18 spots, at a minimum that need to be filled in FA and the draft. Obviously 4-5 of tho…

Has anyone ever seen these guys before? Are they Chicago guys? I started watching this and the first Question: Does Caleb have everything to succeed? They questioned the weapons because some are new and not proven yet.. Then in the second question about Kmet being here in the future, Loveland is a better TE so he might be gone in 2 yrs. So Loveland is unproven and then in the second question, he is better than Kmet. Isnt that counterdicting yourself?

Here's a couple videos with some good thoughts about our running game with Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright. Glynn Morgan explains how pulling either OT could make it really hard to stop our run game. If he's right in Week 1 GB could be in for a surprise. I like Schmitz's analysis on Braxton Jones and since he covers his run blocking you can see how he was utilized last year. The assumption is we'll now be doing the same type of plays from left or right.

Without considering the draft picks, which right now seem to favor the Bears, it seems like every other NFC North team got worse this offseason. GB lost 2 guys on their O-Line, plus Quay Walker, Rashan Gary, and Wicks and Doubs at WR. At some point in the last few years both Doubs and Wicks were anointed as WR1s. GB's big add, Javon Hargrave who was subpar last year in a MIN defense that was really good. They traded for Zaire Franklin, who is a less dynamic Quay Walker. They also lost Malik Willis who was arguably the best QB2 in the NFL. So to me, they will take a step back. They also lost their DC. DET lost Monty, Decker, Glasgow, Reader, and Raymond and only added Cade…
