So I guess DJ Chark visited the Bears, and there is some interest in signing him. Chark is over 30, and he has had great seasons and not so great ones. One big advantage is that he has played in Ben Johnson's system before. I dont expect anything fast or soon, but it makes me wonder if DJ Moore might be in trouble int he next couple of years. It's interesting that the three players who mouthed off this year have all been addressed with depth. Cole Kmet and then Coltson Loveland DJ Moore and then Luther Burden, and possible Chark as a stop gap measure while Burden (who is a lot like Moore) comes up to speed Jaylon Johnson sitting out right now…

I'm wondering if anyone here happened to DVR the game? If so I would gladly pay for the time, effort, and materials to have the game put on DVD. I've been trying to find a torrent of it and have had no luck, nor could I find it on a couple auction sites that sometimes list games.

While there was nothing spectacular on our KRs I did like the speed and vision Rashad Ross showed later in the game. He's in a tough spot after only joining the team on Sep 1st and just a few weeks later he's out there auditioning for a full-time role. At some point they’re going to have to adjust these low totals to account for our defense. We’ve given up over twenty five points dating back at least ten games while going 7-3 over the total our last ten. This year we’re a perfect 4-0 over the total with the only close one being in TB. The total for Thursday sits at 44 currently for those of y’all that wager.

Most of the Bears’ 2012 schedule is pretty well set now that they and other third-place teams are set. From the NFC West the Bears have Seattle and St. Louis coming to Soldier Field, plus Carolina from the NFC South and Houston and Indianapolis from the AFC South. With Fields now also a runner and the emergence of Herbert in this scheme, it really looks like Montgomery is the odd man out. He has only had one rushing day over 70 yards all season, and since the offense started scoring 30 a game, he has averaged 3.55 yards a carry and 47 yards a game. He is on pace for a career low in attempts, yards, yards per carry, and TDs. His longest rush this year is 28 yards. Obviously he is going to command more than his rookie deal, but I can't see him getting anything like even what Conner or Fournette got (3yr, $21M). What do you think he is worth? So I guess the Bengals are asking a lower price now for Trey Hendrickson. Now they want Cole Kmet, a 2nd and a 4th. Hendrickson is a hell of a player, but he is 30, this isnt the same as Micah Parson. And the asking price is lower. I'm not sure what I'd do right now. It seems a pretty even trade, so it can be argued both ways I think.

Free agent WR from TCU Jimmy Young continued the tradition of carrying a veteran's shoulder pads after practice by performing the task for Roy Williams who was rebuffed by Dez Bryant last year when he asked the then Dallas rookie to do the same thing. To Jimmy Young's credit he felt that it was his duty as a sign of respect and tradition. Since I have basically deemed Sazenmacher(sp?) the underdog of TC I have to give Jimmy Young an honarable mention because that kind of attitude is rare in a WR nowadays and is quite refreshing.He is a real long shot to make the roster but here's hoping he can make the practice squad.
