D. Ware for Dallas is set to make 16 mil this year and is signed thur 2017. Just a thought but is reported that Dallas wants him to take a paycut, and they have huge cap problems. So if he gets cut, should we go after him?

Not sure if this is the forum for this but have never been in any of the others. I just want to again to say I have found all of you a great reprieve from the day to day grind in today's world. Talking about football and reading about football is one of my greatest escapes from just the daily news. I'm so glad that the NFL has continued with their off season. So I hope all of you are doing well and continue to be safe as well as all your families. No matter how the Bears end up in all of this, just being able to see games again this season will be a win!

We needed MIN, CAR, and DAL to lose. Well DEN is up 3 against MIN, CAR is being shutout by ATL, and DAL is up by 10+ against DET. So CAR is definitely a loss, MIN can still lose, and it looks like DAL will win easily. Let's go Broncos! How about the epic QB matchup with Jackson and Watson? I believe he is the longest-tenured Bear and made $1.75M last year. The Bears just signed Ryan Winslow who was a UDFA with the Bears in 2018. Could this be the end of Mega Punt? The Bears also signed long snapper Beau Brinkley, which could also spell the end for Patrick Scales ($1.13M). Between these guys and the vet min, they could save about $1M in cap space between the 2.

Jackson posted several cryptic messages on social media, but all allude to him being gone from Chicago. So there is the first domino and Whitehair is probably next. Those moves will open up a ton of cap space and now we can project the need for a new FS in free agency or in the draft. Eddie started out hot, got paid and hurt. Unfortunately, he was a different player after the injury. He shied away from contact too much, and at times just seemed like the 11th guy on the field running around away from the play.

Colston Loveland, TE Luther Burden, WR Ozzy Trapilo, OT Shemar Turner, DT An offense of Williams, Swift, Moore, Odunze, Burden, Kmet, Loveland is kind of insane. Kmet may end up as the Bears 5th pass catching option. I think Tyler Scott is a cut candidate, same with Pickens now that they drafted Turner. The trade down helped out a lot, the Bears got their guys and their 4th rounder back where they can go RB or S, I would assume.

Looks as though the Jets could be shopping both DT Sheldon Richardson and S Calvin Pryor today. I believe last year we were interested in Richardson (?) but they wanted too much. Now he might be had for a fourth (which we have extra of). As far as the financials go, not sure how feasible it would be. Wouldn't mind seeing the Bears bite one bit. Still just 24 years old he'd only be a couple years older than what our 2nd rounder would be, and he's already established himself as a top 5 safety. Injury is a bit of a concern though.
