I know we have low expectations, but if the team was going to make a legit shot at the playoffs, who is the key to success? If this player fails, the team is going to struggle?

The Bears' 53-man roster will include a couple of surprises, as it always does, but this is how it could shape up: Quarterbacks (2): The Bears almost always keep three, but they might go with just Kyle Orton and Rex Grossman and stash promising rookie Caleb Hanie on the practice squad, hoping no other team claims him for their active roster, which is probably a safe bet. Seriously...it's not even worth looking up this bums name. Who the hell is he? Why is he starting? And why did he look slower than Jamarcus Russell, post-weight gain, running on the beach? No way in hell that guy should be the starting return man. All joking aside, I think there is a good chance several people on this board is faster than he is.

We made a significant offer to Phil Loadholt to play RT for us. He resigned with Minnesota. If he signs with the Bears, J Webb is our starting LT pending the draft. I have no idea if we sign Scott or where Carimi plays. After he Loadholt passed, we signed Bushrod to play LT. Now we have have Carimi/Webb and a possible Scott battling for the RT position. It also makes the prospect of us drafting a tackle unlikely IMO. Who is the RT?

On the Chicago Bears website there is the article entitled "Reason to celebrate". In the pick is Cutler, R Davis, and ???? The third guy I can not see but only a part of his number. Looking at the roster and trying to figure out what number his jersey is I am at a loss. He is one huge & homely guy, LOL. Kinda guy who would star as the "horror" in a b horror flick.

So I'm thinking, "What does this team need?" A defensive player who can shore up the line of scrimmage, stop the run, let our athletic LBs make plays, and generally be a nuisance to the other team. The best fit, in my opinion, is BJ Raji. He fits the bill for every criteria above. On top of that, there are other perks: 1) He's disillusioned with Green Bay. The Bears have done another good job at creating excitement for this seasons team. The retooled defense will have a different look for sure. The offense will be a wait and see as they made some major moves too. I like to walk the edge with my player picks: Defense Deiondre Hall DB - this guy has good length, high football IQ, and does what it takes in run or pass. I do not see him getting much time to showcase his game early on unless there are injuries. His skill set will compliment Fuller well since he w is great against the run. Looking at some players that will make the PS this year I figure 2 to be a shoe in is Kinder and Knox. He showed flashes but Igeslias have shown more. So I figure the Bears will keep Rideau, DA, Hester, Bennet igeslias and Davis. But that only if Davis sticks, If released , look for Knox to make the roster. Any thoughts?

If the typical 5 technique is 6 foot 5 and 300 lb I can't see currently on our roster who plays this. Can Goldman drop 30lb and be quicker, can Lamar Houston play this position but may be bit short. Mitch Unrein has this size but shouldn't start for us. Who is available in the draft because it doesn't like my wish is going to happen that we trade for Wilkerson.

I did!!!!!... Not sure if it was the booze or the play. I was pretty nervous with that start of the game... D was ok but damn what a way to start on O... Great turn around tho... Really excited abou this O. The weapons are there!!! Oline just give Forte holes and cutler time and we will be alright!!!!!

My guess is Orton shines big in this game. Last week was a great confidence builder and he will use a lot of 3 step drops to get em to recievers. Both tight ends will shine because of the 3 step drops. Look for multiple TD's from them. Hester will break one on a recieveing play deep. It will have to happen to keep the D honest. I think Mckie will have a real tough game. His blocking will be key in the running game and I think he will get blown up. Babitch could have a real bad called game here. He will keep 7 in the box close but not close enough, if he doesnt call this game perfect we could be in for long day.

With Blanchard release it will be interesting to see if Edwards or Palmer can be out McCown for roster spots. I am not really comfortable as McCown as the number two.

I was looking at our rosterand came across with the notion that we have alot of beef but little talent. Maybe the real question isn't that Jay yelled...but who should he have yelled at? Webb is a talentless hack. Shouldn't Tice have 1. known that going in 2. if he didn't see it going in, shouldn't he have adjusted for it? I get yelling at Webb.
