Just a thought here but with all the upbeat chat about Rideau and Aromashodu playing so well it's obvious Rashied Davis has not stood out in camp. Reality is that QBs decide where they are throwing the ball. Of course if the OC doesn't like the reads the QB is taking some risks but right now Cutler isn't worried about his job security. I'm just wondering if Cutler sees the athletic ability and potential of a guy like DA and is he just giving him as many chances as possible to make him successful at the expense of Rashied Davis? Eric Berry, fantasy guru, was just on ESPN FT and said that Hester is the biggest sleeper in FF this year. He led the Bears in times targeted last year, and had 8+ FF points in 4 of the Bears last 6 games. I agree with him. I'll be laughing by season's end when Hester is a 1100 yard receiver and I get him in round 10.

Jay Cutler has moved from the #16th selling jersey to the #1 spot now as a Bear, according to the NFL team shop.

So I just got this game yesterday and have been playing it for a while. There is a drastic difference between this year's game and last year's. They have changed the pace of the game to slow it down to make it seem realistic. It takes a while to get used to but I think it did the game well. They also changed the default quarter lengths to 7 min due to this change. - As far as the graphics go, this is the best looking madden game ever. Lots of little details in the game that I love. I mean, sure, we all want to see how Cutler looks. Let's be honest. But there are other things in the balance too. Things that somewhat hang off of Cutler's presence and others that just plain need to be answered after last year. You can't tell much from the first preseason game but there are things we can watch for, even in this exhibition game. Here's my list: 1.) Is Hester a real WR? I've always said he won't make it as a WR because he just didn't have the smarts. But that was always with the expectation that the Bears would never have a Probowl QB on their roster. Does the addition of Cutler make Hester into something I never believed he could be? …

Line got stuood up, saw one guy actually running routes, why the hell was Vasher onkn the field for returns? Its only preseason so not much stock in anything, but geez. Cant wait to see the articles on our team this week..

My biggest problem that I have seen while watching the game so far is that I haven't seen our CB's play near the line of scrimmage yet. Every time I look they are between 6-10 yards off. That is why Fitzgerald is even looking good.

It's just the first preseason game... We were vanilla... Had our two top offensive weapons out... Tommie didn't play... Saw a lot of things I liked... Gotta tackle better... The secondary is a concern... Jay's a gunslinger... I could've written this same postgame script after the first preseason game of all the Lovie Smith seasons. They always look like shit this early in camp. And he'll say "Of course" about 17 times in 10 minutes.

What I saw from tonight's game with our WR's: 1. Cutler forces the ball to Hester when Olsen's out. 2. IMO Rashied Davis appears to be our 2nd best WR. Not good. 3. Knox & Iglesias ain't going to see the field this year. 4. For all the hype, were Riddeau and DA even playing??? 5. Earl Bennett can't get open. I know the obvious excuses: It's just pre-season, blah, blah, blah . . . I ain't buying it. Cutler loves big WR's. Go get Matt Jones.
