I think we'd have won in either case but this can't be bad for the Bears.

With the potential to lose Adam Gase after this season with so many HC job openings projected to be available, who do you think will be the Bears next OC and why.

http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...go-bears-friday Jason's sure to love this...I personally don't mind it at all, I believe we could use an upgrade over McCown so it's worth a shot to see if Russell can be that guy. Article says the workout will be with 3 other QBs....Wonder who they are?

If the Bears get the first pick and decide to trade out of it, here are some teams with draft capital and a need at QB. First off, I think once you get past 10, it is too much capital, so I will stick to the top 10 for now: 1. ARZ - Currently #2, could want to move up to secure their guy knowing someone will ultimately jump them. The value on something like this is tough, but 2x 2nd rounders would be the value based on the trade value chart. 2. WAS - Currently #3, Howell is benched, and they shedded some salary. This would now cost a future first with the swap and another mid round pick. Another option is the pick swap, Daron Payne and another high pick in 2025 (1s…

Ok Been speculating on who goes and who stays. I attached my final word document for all you to look at play with. But notables that are out is C Taylor, Marcus Harrison, Harvey Unga. As for FA signed most notable will be Andy Fantuz. Play with it and give your ideas on stays and who goes. Well deleted the file it seems to have errors. I will upload a newby here shortly Untitled_12.doc

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,6113581.story Funny how, since he is having problems this yr, he mentions that he is just 1 of 11 on the field during returns. I don't remember him talking about this when he was wanting a contract extension. I bet his agent never said a word about making sure they take care of the other st players as well. Makes you go hmmmmm. Peace

It appears that one of our greatest running backs is speaking out against our latest running back bust and is reiterating that the players of today only care about the bank and not about the team nor the game itself. One of these days I hope that this trend gets turned around. Too many Is and MEs on this team and others versus Us and WEs. Let's say that the Bears do the smart thing and get an OL in the first round. Otherwise 99% of us would go crazy (like I did when they drafted Benson). With this year's WR class, it seems there is a great possibility to draft a stud in several of the first few rounds. There is a distinct possibility of having a good one in the fourth round. Desean Jackson will be gone when the Bears 2nd comes up. After that, it's almost a toss up among many there. Mario Manningham (had a bad 40 time, could slip) Early Doucet Malcolm Kelly Limas Sweed (will probably be gone after his good 40 time) James Hardy Devin Thomas Andre Caldwell Earl Bennett Adariu…

Alright, we all know the following: 1. We're banged up 2. Our O line is bad 3. Our receivers have butterfingers on too many accossions 4. Our coaching staff leaves something to be desired 5. Our secondary is virtually non-existant 6. The DT slots are thinner than Nicole Richie 7. Urlacher is dinged up 8. Orton will have his first start in eons 9. AD ran wild on us last time 10. The Minny D is darn good However, we need to win this dammit! I want Orton to just rock! I want the D to come out of hibernation! I want Hester going off! I think this is possible. We are a trap game for Minny! They think they have us by the short and cu…

Sign Sidney Rice and Davin Joseph, then draft: 1 - Mike Pouncey, OG, Florida Day 1 starter at LG, lets Chris Williams move back to LT. A line of Williams-Pouncey-Kreutz-Joseph-Webb should be more than adequate, with Omiyale as the swing tackle and Garza backing up the interior line. 2 - Drake Nevis, DT, LSU Ready-made three-technique DT. Has drawn comparisons to Tommie Harris in college, should be able to replace Tommie early in his rookie season. Quick off the snap, has a decent pass-rush repertoire already, and is surprisingly strong for his size. Allows the team to cut Tommie and use Toeaina/Melton to spell Adams and Nevis. That's a solid d-line rotat…

I may be in the minority but I like our schedule going forward. It's tough, that won't change but the sequence is what I like. New England--at chicago and after a blowout win I have the optimism that the pats will not be as sharp than if they had just been blown out. My concern is that what they beat the Jets with is what we used to beat the lions with. Over the middle routs in the zone. We have Urlacher to help that middle part of the cover two but if we don't tackle better than we are doomed. I still objectively feel like we have a great chance given that the bears have recently been playing at the level of their opponent. At Minnesota--we'll see if we are…
