I live here in Colorado and seen Cutler tear it up on the bootlegs with Denver. But we never run it. Every team we played (I've seen all games) runs it against us with success, until we slow or shut it down. But we don't want to run these type of plays because the other team might figure it out after we have success with it. That's the mentality of our coaches "Well we don't want to run it because they might figure it out after awhile". Remember a few years back Lovie said we stop running certain succesfull plays because they were going to stop it sooner or later #*!^@%^#*!!!!!!. And the cover 2 is outdated. The way we play it,it's their 11 ofensive guys against our 9. …

I am extremely happy with the development of our WRs. Hester, Bennett, and Knox have all stepped up big time. I do not see this as a need next yr. I would say FA and the draft should concentrate on: - Offensive line - Defensive backfield Get a top tier OL in FA and then draft best available of the 2 in the 3rd and 4th round. Peace

Go get Brooks asap. Peace

I'd like to see some (more): No huddle. It killed us in Atlanta; why don't we try it on the Bengirls? More tosses and sweeps with Forte when the OG actually pulls. Omiyale- wake the f*** up. More screens with Wolfe or Forte. It worked for the most part in Altanta. More Wolfe. I'm tired of Forte excuses. How does he get no holes, yet when Wolfe comes in, he finds holes? Hmm... More wildcat. It worked once for 6-7 yards IIRC. Thoughts?

I've been through too many seasons recently with our Oline under-performing and after last nights game I'm done with it. Last year Lovie made a lot of changes but he forgot one and left this guy in place and that's because he's Ron Turner's buddy; came over with him from Univ of Illinois. I called for his head last year when he was whining about how the fans don't know what's going on and the Oline played poorly. He basically said they weren't that bad. I think it's clear he doesn't know what's going on or his standards for success on plays is extremely low. Fans, including those on this message board, continue to say we have poor talent but we keep throwing guys int…

Nice play by him. I'm always happy to see a old Bear do something good. I always liked him and glad Rivera didn't forget about him when he needed help. Torn in this game between Orton and them.

Put Hunter back in the middle with Roach at SLB. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...arnt20.article# Peace

I forgot to tell you guys something from the game... During Half Time they had the silent drill team from the Marines. A bunch of guys with rifles, bayonets, and some razor-sharp movements. They were tossing weapons back and forth with perfect movements. It was a pretty impressive site. Well, near the end of their routine, Maynard starts to take warmup kicks. He's bombing 50 yarders from his 25 to the opposite 25, trying to put them near the sideline. Over and over he's drilling them to the same spot. And then when the Marines begin marching off the field, while still towards the middle, Maynard shanks a kick. You hear the groans. You hear the "uh-o…

I was just doing some quick browsing, and I found this link. Angelo should set it as his home page. Which one (two?) of the guys on the list do you think the Bears should target in FA? I would love to see the Bears nab two of these guys, and then draft a guy early.

The Bengals Antwan Odom, DE, was lost for the year. CIN has allowed a league-high 25 pass plays of 20+ yards. I think we matchup pretty well against the Bengals. Palmer is not very mobile, and Benson only gained 44 yards against Houston's defense. This was a game that I expected us to win before the season started, and I still believe we should win. Looking at our schedule, this is where we could go on an extended run (as long as we don't give away anymore games). After CIN, we have CLE and ARZ at home, then @ SF, and then PHI at home before going to MIN. It would be nice to head into MIN at 8-3. We also have a favorable schedule after the MIN game (STL an…

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-2...,2887286.column First, I am not sure how many Bear fans "hate" Orton. Many bear fans are happy for him, and those who are not, I am not sure it is correct to say they "hate" him. No, they do not want to see him look great w/ another team as that would seem to call into question the bears. Second, how the hell can anyone question why a Bear fan would hate Favre. Seriously. This guy is a local beat writer, not only in Chicago, but for the Chicago Bears, and he can't understand why Bear fans would hate Brett Farve? Is he really that stupid. He writes about how waffling on retirement isn't a reason to hate him. I…

Lovie needs to sit some players at the start of a game for a couple of series or a half. Omaliye,Forte,Harris for example. Lovie is their coach first, not friend first, who cares what they think. You cannot tell me Vasher did not want to prove something after being benched, and he did with a little luck but I know he was pumped when he was sent in. It lights a fire under the substitute and the player being sat, when he returnes, believe that. I want Lovie to get more fierce, like we do when we watch the game and get a little heated. Not Ditka style but more then he has. Another thing,I hate our blitzing. It's always everybody on the line rushing a straight line to the qb,wh…

Just read an article that Benson says the Bears blacklisted him with other teams. What an insecure twit! Cincy really is a perfect home for him, bunch of loud mouth, insecure crybabies!

Wouldn't you think of all OC's, Turner would know the most how to utilize Garret Wolfe. His brother runs the show in San Diego and while Norv is a terrible coach he's done a ton with a similar scat back. Couldn't Ron have made a call pretty easily to figure out some better ways to utilize Garret? Now my guess is that Ron has and I personally think the Bears need to utilize Wolfe more, but before we get crazy on things, if you watch the Chargers, they don't just throw screen passes with Sproles. They run him inside, outside, use him as a decoy, etc. Bottom line, I want everyone to remember that for Wolfe to succeed the Bears will have to do the sam…
