  1. I liked Arch. Too bad he's gone though. I guess we'll have to trade for Todd Johnson again
  2. I will take either of them anyday over the mcnown/matthews/jimmiller trio we had back in the day.
  3. I'd actually like to see Wolfe in the #2 spot regardless of what happens. Lots of talent, size lacking yeah, but I'd like to see the guy get at least 100+ carries this season.
  4. Keep with Grossman this season, see if he can change it up from last season. Don't keep changing QBs, that's what's wrong with the team at the moment, if there's 3-4 bad games from a QB, they try to change the position to someone else, and then back and forth throughout the season. P.S. Thank God we got rid of Griese.
  5. Urlacher in 2006 had 0 Sacks and was a key man in the passing and running game. In 2007 they put him to go in more for the QB more than he did in 2006. Our defense had the middle open many times in 07, do we go back to Urlacher being the MLB and watching the pass/running game? Or continue to have him blitz and get to the QB once every couple of games. I think that with the DLine healthy (now with Harrison/Tommie in the middle as mentioned above), there's no need for Urlacher to blitz anymore, and hopefully this can save the points on DEF and give our OFF a chance to score here and there.
  6. Think Booker will be the 2001/2002 Booker we used to see? I personally wasn't a fan when we traded him for Ogunleye, but over the past years I've been extremely satisfied. But is he a #1 WR still? Or is he getting old and washed up? And BTW - I think Lloyd would make a great impact, totally forgot about him. The jumps that guy has is insane. He needs to be more consistent though
  7. So what the WR looking like atm? 1st String - Marty Booker 2nd String - Earl Bennett 3rd String - Mark Bradley 4th String - Rashied Davis 5th String - Devin Hester Option - Marcus Monk ? Is this what it looks like at the moment? I personally would like to see Rashied get involved more this season, his speed is that of Berrian's maybe he could take his place this season? Idk, thoughts?
  8. Hey negative nancy, let's pretend to be the Raiders in 2006. I bet we would have had a much better time watching a team lose almost every game instead of cheer our own team on to the SB. It wasn't a fluke, it was a team effort to get there. Let's just say the Patriots are worthless now after going undefeated and losing the SB, yes they obviously are a terrible team because they can't go all the way ... My God, I'd much rather watch my team win all season and at least have a chance to win a SB than to sit back and watch them lose every week. You might as well be a Dolphins fan. Go Bears ^^ Sums it up pretty much 100% imho
  9. Pre-Draft: "Bottom line: Monk is one of the biggest wide receiver prospects in the 2008 senior class, he moves well for his size and he's just fast enough to stretch the field. In fact, he projected to go as early as the third round at the start of the season but injuries hindered him all year and he didn't show the same knack for making big plays when he was on the field. At this point, Monk projects as a sixth or seventh round pick." 7th round pick, steal for sure. Is the hype going to show in the NFL though? Discuss.
  10. We made the Super Bowl last season. Our only hard-point to get a hold of is the QB position. I think that other picks we have in our starting lineup (a lot of 3rd 4th and 5th rounders) provide a sense of leadership to the team. So IMHO we've had some great drafts in the past. So we screwed up at a primary position (QB), but we've made a lot of progression in the WR & Defense areas of the team. Glass half full
  11. http://nfldraft.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=802821 ^^ has Bears with a whopping 11th overall pick. GO BEARS! ...
  12. Sorry but Tebow will be another Michael Vick draft kind-of-a-pick. I hope the Bears don't pick him if the opportunity comes next season. I'm looking forward to 11-5 or 9-7 season for the Bears this season, high hopes. Go Rashied Davis!
  13. Isn't Benson making around 6.5$ million this season?
  14. I've been around for a couple of years don't know why my post count went down to 1. All I can say is that if Urlacher is gone this team is going to have more problems than what's currently happening. It'll be tough to request off work on Sundays to watch a team play without a defense leader.
  15. I was around a couple people today and they said they saw on ESPN that the Bears are considering trading Urlacher? Thoughts on this? Or is this false info?
  16. "It was a true disappointment in Rex Grossman, biggest disappoint of the game" Ditka always sums it up completely
  17. he embarrassed chicago and his team with last nights performance biggest game of his life in his hands, and he literally couldn't hold onto it...
  18. who cares its over. thanks to grossman's amazing ball handling and decision making skills. blame the rain for your dumbass hands on how you can't pick up a football... nonetheless twice...
  19. WHATA freakin KR HE HAD NO WAY TO GET THROUGH, BUT SOMEHOW DID
  20. obviously they are all going to get fired for stupid picks once the bears roll on sunday. want to know how theyre going to do it? cedric benson and bernard berrian. want to know who's gonna roll on defense? -- Mark Anderson you heard it first ^^
  21. i hope you get banned from the forums ***i hope you ban yourself from the forums***
