I love this match-up for us. Obviously I wish it was here so I could be there and we get homefield, but the Packers are getting a brand new defense, switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4. This is a drastic change. I think we'll exploit it.

Craig Krenzel got a 28 and Dan Marino got a 15. That is all I have to say.

I can honestly say that I wouldn't mind most of those. DHB is a project but who knows. I'd punch a baby if we took Harvin, Freeman, or Jackson, though.

Lovie has said he prefers speed over a player. Therefore, we'll go DHB is the FO decides on WR in round 1 instead of Nicks, given that they're both there. If DHB is gone, we could go Maclin but I'd rather not. If I were the FO, I'd go OT either way, then trade our 2nd and 4th to move up in the 1st again to go Nicks or Britt there.

How can you say that DHB is a #1 WR while Nicks is like Bennett? Nicks is nowhere near Bennett. Nicks is a 1st round pick, maybe to us at 18, while Bennett went in the 3rd. He's a physical guy who loves to block. I'm not sure if Bennett was a great blocker coming out, I can't remember, but I do know that Bennett wasn't a great YAC guy at Vandy. DHB is super raw and in a pro style offense he didn't even put up great numbers. Many friends of mine have said that Nicks could be the better pro over Crabtree.

But how often is an OG set up in a game to go one on one? He's always getting help from a tackle or a center because on 3 or 4 man fronts there's an extra OL.

McClure's new 2 round mock on Walter's has us going Ayers then Sean Smith. Not too high on Ayers at 18 but I like the Smith pick.

Meredith seems like a RT in a ZBS and Kropog seems like a LT. Fulton is an alright pick in the 4th, and Tupou* isn't very strong.

I've seen plenty of mocks saying that Nicks could be one of the 5 WR's (Britt, Nicks, Crabtree, Robiskie, Maclin, and DHB) to fall into the 2nd round. Last year, WR's dropped and it's bound to happen this year to atleast 1 of these guys. I used to think it was going to be Robiskie but with him running a 4.5 40 at the combine that assured himself a late 1st-early 2nd selection. IMO- the Bears best bet is probably to trade down into the first, then take Nicks with that pick, then Loadholt with their 2nd.

I'm still not that high on Johnson, but in the 3rd he'd be of good value. I like Nicks-Loadholt-Levitre for our first 3 picks.

So far, according to either the Times or NFL.com, the Bears have had/will have private workouts with Phil Loadholt (RT, Oklahoma), Hakeem Nicks (WR, North Carolina), and Eben Britton (RT, Arizona). They also really like Herman Johnson (OG, LSU), along with Tampa and San Diego. Just wanted your guys' thoughts on this.

Campbell really improved this past year. I like him alot going forward. If he was on the market, I'd love to try to get him here. Like you said, the deal is a joke. Cleveland ends up with jacks*** and like I said, that site sucks and this deal would never happen.

After his combine, Johnson would have went in the 4th probably, or in the late 3rd. I've been critical of him a lot, but with his losing of weight, it makes me think he cares.

I've always backed Angelo, but he's been testing my patients. So far, we've gotten Josh Bullocks and Frank Omiyale since FA started.
