  1. I have the Bears going 12-4 this season, and this is one of the losses I have circled on the schedule. Hoping they remain competetive, keep it close, and who knows...I may have to adjust to 13-3
  2. and indeed he is back. tough loss, hope he holds up okay. probably helps to be around teammates.
  3. I think we'd have to be facing NO's 3rd string QB for it to feel like last season
  4. @LouCanellis Lou Canellis Brian Urlacher won't get back in time for practice today but is planning on being on practice field tomorrow
  5. Belichick. You knew there was something up. Even if he's not involved, other than hosting a guest who's an alleged rapist, you can understand why the Pats wouldn't want the stain of this hanging around. And it's not like the guy hasn't run into trouble in the past. Here's to hoping he can keep his shit together while he's with the Bears.
  6. Bears look like shit. Roach and Wright getting owned.
  7. We'll quickly learn whether Martz inserted any quick slants into the scheme. At least no Osi.
  8. Nnamdi Asomugha. Open the vault McCaskey, you cheap bastard. And like someone else said, a hog in the middle. Add to our strength.
  9. Even Clay Matthews talked trash. Classy.
  10. I would probably root for the Packers if they were playing Al Quaida. Probably.
  11. Granted, they're now saying that it's more of a sprain, a small tear, but has another starting QB been hit as many times as Cutler this season? Soft? I don't think so. Just because he wasn't on crutches or limping real bad they think he is soft. My only problem with the guy is that he seemed to be moping. He's supposed to be a leader. But screw all that anyway -- I'm so f'n sick of the Chicago Bears offensive woes through the years that I can't stand it. Urlacher and the D did everything they could to win that game and the lack of any offense just killed us.
  12. I'd like to see some quick slants to Olson (like the Cowboy game) when they bring that all-out blitz. Of course, the biggest factor in my mind is turnovers. The pack will be counting on winning that battle; they're convinced that Cutler is a mental midget who can be rattled. They also seem to think their receivers are going to be as fleet of foot at Soldier Field as they were on turf in Atlanta. Reality check, packerland: Akers makes those kicks and you're already on a beach somewhere. Atlanta doesn't turn the ball over FOUR TIMES and abandon their running game and it would've been much closer, despite the awesome performance by Rodgers (can't take that away from him). This notion that they've suddenly become unbeatable smacks of the same talk we heard about the Pats. I'll believe it when I see it. Send some of these fuckers off in a cart like you did the seahawks. Smash mouth defense.
  13. Short of operating a dog-fighting ranch, I don't care what Cutler is or does as long as he wins.
  14. They're right, who are we kidding? The Bears don't stand a chance, they're the luckiest team in football. I guess they should be ashamed of themselves, especially after they whack the seahawks 35-14 this weekend.
  15. and as bad as that was, we lost by 7. And were driving at the end until Cutler threw a floater to an open DH. I feel good about that game yesterday. Nothing to play for and yet they took the NFL's darlings down to the wire. I hope they can get past the iggles so we have a chance to play them again in the NFC championship game.
  16. Eagles have more "weapons" than the Pats. Fail.
  17. Don't forget the power of the turnover - it works both ways. Now if they can just figure out the short yardage situation.
