1. Evan Rodriquez. Did a great job blocking. Didn't look like a rookie. Not sure if we'll miss Clutts if he keeps this up and continues to get better.
2. Kyle Adams. One grab. Big grab. Make the most of your opportunities!
3. Wootten. The Favre killer punched one loose from Luck. One of the lone bright spots in the pass rush. We need more of this Corey!
4. Podlesh. Good kicks.
5. Gould. Is it fair not to give him props when all he does is just make kicks? Robbie rocks.
6. JT Thomas. great special teams play! This guy wants it! Love watching him play!
If these guys and others keep it up...their efforts will be a huge part of our overall success!
1. Agreed, but I wonder how much is just first game jitters and wanting to make a connection.
1a. Agreed...but there appears to be hope. The ball was spread around a bit.
2. Seriously...someone needs to take the flag out of his control
3. Bingo!
4. E Gad! SF did the same thing and nearly lost their game doing it!
5. Any would be nice. I'm being hard, but we did not do a good job getting to the QB
I'll take the nice stress free win any day!
I'm very worried about GB...they will be itching to make up for the loss today and we desperately need a pass rush to have a chance.
But kudos to the Bears regardless!
Mostly agreed.
However, my big concern was a real lack of pass rush. It's one thing against Indy, it's another against GB.
But they did well enough today.
Seriously, hats off to an amazing offensive game.
It's far from over. The league will end up suspending them again, and they will have to sit. Just down the road a bit after the NFL shores up its charges.
Great points. We will have to see how it all plays out, but it sure looks like RB's could be devalued.
It's hard to judge a trade w/o seeing who you'd want to pick up...
