  2. I apologize for dummin' on this...but I just cannot recall and couldn't find anything on it on a cursory search.
  3. As unimpressed as I am with Williams, I think he should be kept as swing. I don't think we can get enough to warrant a trade. We let him walk after the season unless something remarkable transpires.
  4. When is the draft and how do we pay? I'm free most the weekend, but I just need to know in advance when... I'm happy to pay via PayPal or check...just let me know! Thanks!
  5. Absolutely. Next year's draft, assuming Smith is still on board, will be LB in the 1st. Then I'd hope OL in the 2nd and 3rd, and yet another S in the 4th. Or something like that. Url's situation, the rest of the LB corps, Bears tradition, etc pretty much screams LB regardless of what we all see at OL. My hope is that Emery will go OL in the next 2.
  6. I agree. I feel like he could contribute like Anderson did. I expect a lot more down the road, but for this season...I'd like to see one great disruption per game.
  7. Cutler simply fell... I nabbed him in the 5th if you can believe it. Cutler has a good game with TEN when Brady is on bye. I picked second w/ Brady and then the flood of RB's went. So, I lost out on the heavy hitting RB's by the time it snaked back around. Although in this league, QB's rule the roost. They generate about twice as much points as RB's. Benson got taken right before I picked Sproles. On the 2nd and 3rd, I picked Nicks and Sproles. Nicks was a little risky though...
  8. Agreed. Sproles could have some good games, but not consistent enough. Thanks for the feedback.
  9. I just drafted in a 10 team league....here's the team (no flex & have to have a 1 bench for every slot) QB - Brady (Cutler) RB - Sproles, Ridley (R. Bush) WR - H. Nicks, A. Brown (R. Moss) TE - Jimmy Graham (Kendricks) K - Crosby (Kaeding) D - BAL (DET)
  10. I think you assessed it well yourself. Only at RB do I see potential problems.
  11. Normally, I'd say that's too harsh... Not so much in this case... Walter is in football Valhalla. ...and Martin is in football hell.
  12. jason, That scene brings up such vile hatred of the Packers that I feel like Captain Kirk yelling "Khan!!!!". I actually felt my blood pressure rise just looking at the post w/o even playing it. That move alone cost the Bears at least 2 SB victories and ruined McMahon's career. That play alone sealed my lifelong and everlasting hatred for the Packers. Hate is simply too soft of a word for how I feel about Martin and that play...
  13. He also looked like crud in the preseason game I watched so far... With Bush in hand, we no longer need Bell. Time to let one of the other guys get a chance. Good luck Mr. Bell.
  14. Unlike the previous article...this one is 100% valid. And 100% funny!
  15. I do see it as the powers that be are giving Webb an advantage. Unless Williams truly shows he's much better, I think Webb will be our starter come week 1.
  16. Agreed on Marshall. I think how he is handling himself is really a pleasant surprise and more than we could have hoped.
  17. The writer's statement is actually really lame... Kind of takes the easy road w/o truly being funny. There are other funny items, both true and untrue in that piece. I got a kick out of it as a whole. I generally prefer a fan to bash us, but it's kind of interesting to see a national "hate" take. But generally speaking, most fan bases I run into either like us or don't think much about it. The only bases that hate us are in the NFC North.
  18. Funny stuff! Thanks for sharing!
  19. I hope good to start the season at minimum...
