Cheesehead School teacher A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Cheesehead. She asks her students to raise their hands if they are Cheeseheads too. No one really knowing what a Cheesehead was, but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like flashy fireworks. There is, however, one exception. A girl named Kristen who has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. “Because I’m not a Cheesehead.” “Then”, asks the teacher, “what are you?” “Why, I’m a proud bear Fan,” boasts the little girl. The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Kristen why she is a rebel. “Well, my mom and dad are Bear Fans, so I’m a Bear Fan too.” The teacher is now angry. “That’s no reason,” she says loudly. “What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron. What would you be then?” A pause, and a smile. “Then,” says Kristen, “I’d be a Cheesehead”

Ok by me if it is ok by DB. I can't believe he would object if the majority was in agreement. I know flea wanted it earlier. So did Gary. I did. You did. Your friend is in agreement. That is 5 of the 10 there. DB PMed me earlier saying it was fine with him then he changed his mind about changing it to Sunday. That leaves 4 we are waiting to hear from. Whoever it was that complained to DB about moving it to Sunday should be (I Hope) agreeable to a 2 hour shift of start times.

I agree that it is probably too late for the Sunday Draft. For that to have happened a decision probably should have been sent out yesterday, not the night before. There is plenty of time to notify everyone of a 6PM draft on Monday and I can not believe anyone who was accepting the 8PM Monday time would have any reason to object to moving it up 2 hours. Ultimately, it is DB's call.

I would be thrilled with Sunday at Noon, however would be satisfied with 6PM Monday as that is what I thought was being agreed on with the exchanges we had. There is an email owners option on the yahoo team website.

It makes it very rough on Gary who has to get up at 1AM to go to work, it makes it rough on me as I get up very early in the morning to go to work, and I believe that means flea will start the draft at 2 AM. I did not know the draft time was firm at 8PM Monday night. If I had known this I would not have paid my $20 and would have withdrawn from the draft. Too late now, I guess I will have to live with it.

I would assume if he had a grudge against the Bears he would be wanting to play for another NFCN team (just ask Brett Fart).

Davis knows the Bears will be in the Super Bowl & they just dropped him. Every player wants to make it to the Super Bowl. Therefore, to make it to the Super Bowl, he knows he will have to go to the AFC. LOL. Was what he said that bad?

I have the "Everything" package with Dish Network, tons of channels, but on searching have only found that it will be aired as a replay on Saturday on NFL Network. Surely it will be aired live???? Anyone know if it is being aired live in Chicago area?

DB, are we going to adjust the start of the draft a few hours earlier? Earlier in the thread there was an exchange by several managers in the league that indicated no one who replied would object to such a move. It is Labor Day and I suspect everyone will be off. Is there a chance of an afternoon draft? If not, how about a 5 or 6 PM start? I know Bowlingtwig has to get up at around 1 AM for work, I usually get up about 5:30 AM, and believe me, I need at least 8 hours of beauty sleep, don't let me show you a picture of me to prove this, LOL.

Manning, Fitzgerald, Forte, & Welker. Holy Cow, maybe I should start playing 8 team leagues, that is awesome!

RB are solid, I wish mine were, LOL Good at all other positions except WR. I think you have a good pair of QBs, I obviously love Olsen at TE, & SDC have a good D/ST. Very seldom do you find a team without a weakness and your WRs might surprise you. It is usually the position that you can find, as the season starts, a sleeper on the Waiver Wire. Good Luck!

Ok, need opinions.... I drafted a team for FF that is hosted for the Company I work for. I decided instead of playing in 6 FF Leagues this year, because of things going on at work and home, I would only play 2, one for work, one for this forum. My 1st draft was a few weeks ago and after making a trade and picking up a few players cut by one crazy guy, I would up with the below lineup. I would love your opinions if you do not mind. Keep in mind there was one guy who was absent and blew his prerankings for autodraft and wound up with 7 QBs on a 17 man roster. He insists he did this to terade them for players. He wants too much for them. So it was hard to wind up with 2 good QBs unless you drafted them too early. We start 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR 1 RB/WR 1 TE 1 K 1 D/ST with high scoring format and PPR I picked 10th in a ten team league, thus went with a stud WR theory. Donovan McNabb PHI (4) Shaun Hill SFO (6) (plays STL in SF Wk 4, I love the matchup, picked as FA, dropped Robiski) (Flacco, Penninton, Campbell, and CLE QB? are available as FA but think S Hill might be best option for week 4) Ronnie Brown MIA (6) Joseph Addai IND (6) Donald Brown IND (6) Handcuff & Sleeper Ray Rice BAL (7) Marshawn Lynch BUF (9) (Picked up on Waiver Wire, dropped Betts)(should be good after returning in week 4) Larry Fitzgerald (ARI (4) Andre Johnson HOU (10) Wes Welker NEP (8) Anthony Gonzalez IND (6) (Traded Willie Parker to get him, IMO, a good trade? 2 weeks in a row, 17-3 at half time. We have not allowed a TD in the last 6 quarters. Cutler's QB Rating for the 1st half 180.1 We are having a chance to play in a loud away stadium with a 3-4 defense. Good prep for GBP.

I agree for him to be #3, but only as a free agent, like you said, I would not trade for him.
