  1. I'd trade our 3rd rounder for him and use the 1st 2 rounds on o-linemen. Peace

    Fire Nagy

If you're going to fire Nagy, then Pace has to go as well. No way he deserves another turn hiring a head coach. The Bears do not fire coaches in season - they just don't. If they did, they would have fired Aaron Kromer in 2014. I think you have to see how the rest of the season plays out. If they fall apart completely, then I would not have an issue with them moving on. Peace
  3. No Whitehair for sure (ruled out) and mostly likely no Robinson (doubtful). Peace
  4. Projecting 3 6th round comp picks. https://247sports.com/nfl/chicago-bears/Article/Updated-look-at-projected-Chicago-Bears-2021-compensatory-picks-146725461/ Peace
  5. Does this mean we are getting a 6th for him? We traded him for a conditional 6th. Peace
  6. They can activate Harris off the practice squad this weekend and do not have to waive anyone (new rule this year) so I think you'll see that. Personally, I'd love to see them waive Ginn and be done with it. Peace
  7. I agree with a lot of this. 1. Ginn should be gone this week. He's a waste of a roster spot. 2. Foles was supposed to have a beautiful deep ball but has missed on a wide open receiver at least 4 times since taking over the job. Mooney should have 2 to 3 more TDs. 3. How did Mustiphar look replacing Whitehair? Can we have him take over at center and slide Whitehair back to left guard (if healthy)? 4. Why is Harris getting more playing time/targets than Kmet? This should change immediately. 5. Two of the first three picks next year need to be on offensive line. Massie and Leno have to go next year. 6. At least we have solved the kicking situation. Peace
  8. The offensive line is a dumpster fire. If Whitehair is out for long, it will only get worse. Peace
  9. Jenkins was activated a couple weeks ago and should be able to help. Peace

    Officiating

Agreed 100% - I've also been saying they should hire FT referees, who are much younger, for years. Peace
  11. Quoting Al Davis - Just win, baby! Matt Nagy is a heck of a head coach. I wish he would hand over the play calling to someone else. Peace

I've been saying this for years - the refereeing in the NFL is the worst of any professional sport and it's not even close. Peace
  13. The Panthers are horrible against the run. Run the damn ball 30+ times in this game. Peace
  14. Two different topics but here are my thoughts: - ARob over A Miller. We can let Miller go after next season if he doesn't break thru. We have Wims, Ridley and Mooney ready to step up. ARob is a #1 receiver in the league that doesn't have the baggage like Brandon Marshall and can stay on the field unlike Alshon J. Pay him. - Lamar Miller over Le'Veon Bell. Bell's gonna want the rock and will bitch when he doesn't get it. We do not need the baggage. Peace
  15. How does Matty P still have a job? He's a horrible head coach. Peace
  16. I saw this earlier. Great breakdown. Peace
  17. I would say that no one is complaining about Graham's contract now. He looks 5 years younger. Peace
  18. I love Nagy the head coach. I'm not impressed with Nagy the play caller. I compare him to Joe Maddon. He was great get the team ready, keeping an even keel and making them know they can win at any time. He was bad managing his pitching staff. Peace

    Cole Kmet

On another note Jaylon Johnson looks fantastic. Getting that type of production out a rookie is a huge bonus. Peace

    Cole Kmet

Four games in. Relax. I am going to say he is probably going to have 25 to 30 catches by the end of the season. Peace
  21. Holtz did well in the FB role last year. Peace
  22. Is Tyler Bray your 2nd string QB next year? Bears have to draft a back up and, hopefully, eventual replacement for Foles. The Packers drafted Mark Brunell, Aaron Brooks and Matt Hasselback in the 90s when they had Favre. The Bears need to invest in the QB position. Peace
  23. Pace must draft a developmental QB next year. Foles is a very good placeholder at the position but he is not the long term answer. Peace
  24. Bears have to draft a QB to develop behind Foles. Trubisky is gone at the end of the season. Peace
  25. MItch is a heck of a teammate. He's a really good dude and it's easy to root for him. He's also better than 99% of the people that play QB in the world. However, he's not better than the vast majority NFL starting QBs. I wish it would have worked out for him but it didn't. Where he was drafted was not his fault. I wish him all the best going forward. Drafting QBs is a crapshoot. The year Cade McNown was drafted, there were 5 QBs taken in the first 12 picks (Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Donovan McNabb, Dante Culpepper and McNown). Three of the five were complete busts. All the draft analysis I read had Trubisky as a top-10 draft pick. Pace obviously loved all the leadership traits that Mitch showed and probably felt they could fix any technical issues he had. They obviously got it wrong. The larger problem is Pace has not drafted any other QBs anywhere in the draft. Tyler Bray is in his 3rd year as the 3rd string QB. He'll be 29 at the end of the season. He's not a developmental player. When the Packers had Favre, they drafted Mark Brunnell, Matt Hasselback, Aaron Brooks and Aaron Rodgers. Brunnell and Hasselback were both traded. You have to invest in the position and, once you realize you've made a mistake, move on. Peace
