  1. Mitch will be in the league for 10+ years as a fringe starter, backup. He's not a bad QB. He's just not the outstanding QB we wanted him to be. The amount of 1st round QBs that fail miserably in the NFL is staggering. Just go back to 1998 where the Bears picked McNown 12th. Couch, Smith, McNabb and Culpepper were all drafted in front of him. Couch and Smith were complete busts so that's 3 of the 5 taken in the 1st that completely busted. It happens all the time but you have to continue drafting QBs until you find one. This is where Pace has failed after saying he would draft one every year. Peace
  2. Good guy. Meh player. Best of luck to Mitch. Peace
  3. George ran the ticket office until around 2010. I had a run in with him with my season tickets back in 2005. He made me a promise he didn't keep. In fact, he admitted he was breaking his promise because I hadn't been a season ticket long enough. I don't have much love for him or his family. Peace
  4. Mikey hasn't been the problem for the past 20 years or so (since the Dave McGinnis fiasco). Ted and George have been leading the parade since then. The Bears Board of Directors needs to initiate the change. Peace
  5. I agree they need to hire a president of football operations. I say that every time someone says Ted Phillips was consulted on X football decision. Phillips has made them a ton of money but he shouldn't be involved in any football decision. Peace
  6. You know you don't fire the owner. You can hope that they sell but that's about it. Peace
  7. Well, at least they didn't trade for him. Better draft a QB and some offensive lineman that can play immediately. Peace
  8. Maybe we would get a 2nd round pick for him. That's the best case scenario. Peace
  9. I feel your pain but that's not gonna happen. Peace

Agreed. That doesn't mean one can dream. Peace

Someone should buy Arlington Racetrack and put a team there. I would love to see it. Peace

    This 100%. Peace
  13. Agreed. I have no issues trading a 5th or 6th for Minshew and then drafting a QB as well. Peace
  14. My thought is we will get Minshew, Mariota or Darnold. Peace
  15. Thanks for the analysis. I thought he was being overlooked because of the talent around him. Peace
  16. Pederson is gone from Philly, Peace
  17. Keep drafting QBs until you get it right. Peace
  18. Because George is delusional. He even said he hasn't done a good job but has decided to stick with the status quo. Peace
  19. Would you trade 2 1sts for Dak? Peace
  20. Agreed. I think the price tag is going to be way too much. Personally, I would be OK with trying to get Prescott from Dallas if they tag him. Peace
  21. Meinerz is from UW-Whitewater, which is 30 miles north of where I live. Peace

I'm not a Rodgers fan and I enjoy watching the Pack lose but I also recognize how great a player he is. Rodgers is, without a doubt, a 1st-ballot HOFer. We'd be happier than pigs in shit if he was a Bear. Peace
  23. No. Loved him as a payer but I don't see this working. Peace
  24. It's going to cost more than 3 first-round picks to get him. Peace
