  1. I'm talking about using him in the same fashion. Peace
  2. I agree. I look at Darren Sproles and Leon Washington and think Wolfe could do the same thing. I would love to see Turner give him that chance next yr. 5 to 10 touches a game - period. Peace
  3. Favre act is tiring. He needs to retire. Peace
  4. Brown, Briggs, or Tillman. Url should not be captain next yr. Peace
  5. The Niners played in the worst division in football - hands down. 6 games against Seattle, Arizona, and St Louis. Are you kidding me? Martz is a pipe dream. He's not coming here and I really don't want him. Peace
  6. Here's how I look at it: 1 - Bring in an established vet to compete with Orton (either an older vet in the mold of Collins or Garcia, or a younger vet in the mold of Boller or Ramsey). 2 - Draft a QB in the later rounds to develop 3 - Keep Hanie (he completes with the drafted QB for the roster spot) I agree with you Pix. I want to see Hanie given a chance. I really like what we saw from him last yr. I personally think he will beat out anyone we draft in a lower round. Peace

  8. I was comparing the stats for Kyle and Jake this yr, not Delhomme's career. Peace
  9. Jackson started 5 or 6 games for the Vikings. It was Ferotte most of the yr. Moose had Delhomme throwing the ball to him. Check on Jake's stats this yr compared to Kyle. Very, very comparible and Jake has Steve Smith to throw to and Williams/Stewart in the backfield. I can remember several times Delhomme throwing the ball up and Smith taking the ball from the defender. We do not have a receiver that can do that. Get one of those receivers and then lets see Kyle does. http://www.nfl.com/players/jakedelhomme/profile?id=DEL367367 Peace
  10. Again, IMHO QB is not the issue on this team. Our overpaid, underperforming defense killed us this yr. Our horrible WR group needs an infusion of talent along with our o-line who did do an ok job this yr but is aging. We have a QB to develop sitting on the bench right now - Hanie. However, if the coaching staff feels he is not a future prospect, I have no issues with drafting a QB. I simply would not draft one higher than the 5th round. Rex is gone. We will need a backup QB - that is why you go get a veteran. If not Garcia or Collins, then someone like Boller or Ramsey. Peace
  11. Tommie has a huge bonus due (6.67 million) at the beginning of the NFL yr (I think that is March 1st). Going to be interesting to see what they do. I imagine they pay it this time but if he doesn't show improvement next yr he is probably gone. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...earnt30.article Peace
  12. No problem - I wish you were right. Peace
  13. Nice catch - thanks for the help. I wonder outside of Minny and Philly if we played any top 10 defenses. Peace
  14. I'm sorry you feel this is BS. What do you think of the Atlanta defense? Kyle led the team down the field to what would have been a game winning TD against them. He also led game tying drives against the Pack and NO. I know there defenses are suspect compared to Atlanta but he did perform under pressure. IMHO QB is not the issue on this team. The issues are the horrible WRs, mediocre offensive line, and overpaid, underperforming defense. I am fine with Kyle next yr to see if he improves. If not, then move on. I am banking on him improving. Peace
  15. He signed a 4 yr extension in the summer. The Bears need to update their website. Please see the attached link: http://www.rotoworld.com/Content/playerpag...NFl&id=2776 Peace
  16. You noticed the several conditions I had that would have to occur if Lloyd was to be brought back. Personally, I am hoping we get TJ and the point is mute. Peace
  17. I really like Hanie's moxie and hope that we hold onto him. I think he has what it takes to go to the next level although it will be a yr or 2 before he is ready. Peace
  18. And I would be there with you. It would be like the movie Office Space when they took the printer out into the field. You would have to stop me from putting him in a hospital. Seriously, TJ should be the priority. Then get a veteran backup QB and go from there. Peace
  19. Millen is gone. He was rock bottom. They will get better over time. Peace
  20. I would agree. Particularly wanting to see Minny and Az get beat like dogs. Peace
  21. Like I said, if they like Hanie enough, then get a vet to compete with Orton (Garcia, Collins, etc). Do not draft a QB unless you feel Hanie cannot be developed. I like what I saw from Hanie last yr, so I would not draft a QB unless you find value in a lower round (5 to 7). Peace
  22. I think it is simply based on a desire to get rid of Babich and the knowledge that Lovie will want someone who is a known commodity. Realistically, if Angelo tells Lovie he has to make a change you know Lovie is going to say he wants Marinelli (who was his original choice before Rivera). Peace
  23. I agree on this assessment. Wondering if any of the guys at the end of the roster may have a chance as well (Rideau and the dude who had played for the Colts previously). I would consider bringing back Lloyd at veteran minimum if, and only if, we are not able to get someone better. If not TJ, then Henderson, Gaffney, or someone at that level. Peace
  24. Great post but you were supposed to bring us a win. Thanks for sharing the info. Peace
