A real jagbag. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-2...0,3282656.story Peace

I agree the head coach is ultimately responsible for the team and its performance. However, at this level, there should be no reason given the circumstances for the players to come out in the first half the way they did. The player know what is on the line. I'm sure they were told all week. I heard the interview with Lovie before the game so I know what he told them. There is no excuse for professionals to play that way. Peace
-
I agree. Olin Kreutz, Kyle Orton, Brian Urlacher, and Mike Brown - get your heads out of your arses. Grab your teammate by the facemask and tell them ever so politely to step it up. Peace
-
I'm with Hampton on Orton. Get better talent around him, get him healthy, and lets see what happens. I really like his prep work before the game, his poise during the game, and his leadership. I heard in an interview earlier this yr that Kyle felt the change in the footwork had led to most of his success. After his injury, he said that his footwork changes were negated because of the injury and would need to deal with it for the rest of the yr. I would bring in a vet to compete with Kyle next yr. Hanie is a few yrs away. Peace

The word that was used in the post I responded that was flourish. Flourish means, to me, they play at a much higher level now than they did when they were with the Bears. I just don't see it that way. Peace
-
I agree with you on both. Cassel is the flavor of the day with great, great talent around him. I would like to see how he would look with our o-line, wrs, and coaching. Rex is a good guy and I wish him the best. However, I simply do not see him ever playing at a probowl level. Peace

I second that!!!! Happy holidays everyone. Be careful out there. Peace

My favorite part: I’m not sure which player among the interior three of Josh Beekman, Olin Kreutz or Roberto Garza had Ron Turner’s ear. Clearly, somebody must have been telling him that they were able to handle the interior of the Packers’ defense. Clearly, they could not. FYI - Earl Bennett did play. Davis has been demoted to special teams. Bennett was in on 2 series I believe. Thanks for the post. Peace
-
I think you got your TJ and CJ mixed up at the end of the post. Peace
-
Point is we do have a winning record and he does deserve some credit for that. So do the players. So does the front office. They also all deserve the blame for the 3 games that were blown earlier this yr. Peace
-
Bennett and Booker got his reps. Peace
-
Lovie is not being fired with a winning record. Peace
-
They can't be 6-2 or they wouldn't have any home games left. They are 5-2. Peace
-
Ok - let me get this straight. I am at the stadium freezing my arse off and you are at home in 85 degree weather with a pool and you are going to sleep in the middle of the game????? You're killing me!!!!! Peace
-
They cannot get open or off the jam. They drop too many passes. Damn, they piss me off. Booker - gone Lloyd - gone Davis - 5th receiver, special teams only Hester can stay but stop dropping the friggin ball (2 tonight) Bennett - nice to see him get reps and he actually was open once Peace
-
for pushing the blocker into the punt at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Great, great play. Just keep him off the field on offiense. Peace

Just got back from the game. Some notes: - Not as cold as advertised. No wind so it was tolerable. We stood 95% of the game. - Both Brad Maynard and Robbie Gould should be in the probowl. Some one needs to explain to me how they are not. - Dave Toub deserves a huge raise. Special teams is the reason we won tonight (although they almost lost it at the end of the game). Manning return, punt fumble recovery, Hester return, blocked kick. All of these plays were huge. - Rasheed Davis did not play on offense. Bennett actually got reps. - Marty Booker: thanks for your great effort when you were here before but you need to go. Man was I wrong on that one. - In 8 quarters, we did not sack Rodgers once. Manning did get some nice pressure on blitzes and did cause the int. - Kyle has to improve. I'm glad we did not sign him to an extension. Bring in a vet to compete for the starting job next yr. - I love how Mike Brown hits but he is definately a step slower. We need a true free safety. - Olsen has stepped up big time. He and Clark are the best 1, 2 TE tandum in the league. We are going to have to play much, much better to beat Houston. The offense has to show up. Peace
-
If you really hate Lovie than you need to get perspective IMHO. He is just the coach of your football team that you disagree with. It's not like he stuffed you in a locker every day in high school. Peace
-
I like Justin so good for him. Cedric is a complete jag. He can go screw. Peace
-
That's baseball. Remember, a couple of yrs ago the Queens were the wildcard and the Pack won the division. The Queens spanked them in the 1st round in Lamblow. Peace
-
Tampa at home. I was at the game earlier this yr and am still pissed we lost. Peace
-
Bobby Wade needs to STFU!!!! http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2008/12/ex...s_will_def.html Peace
-
Well, technically they would have had nothing to play for if they lost other than to stop a losing streak. Either way, we need to take care of our own business before worrying about them. Peace
-
If we get in as the wildcard, we would play the Queens. If we win the division, we would play the 6th seed which will be Tampa, Dallas, or Philly. I want Tampa again. We will not lose to them again. Peace
-
they will make the playoffs. All they need to do is beat Denver in San Diego next week and they go in at 8-8. Wow. Peace
