How to better utilize Olsen
Good for Rex. I'll take Kyle over Rex anyday. Kyle finished with approx. 3000 yds, 18 TD, 12 ints, and 3 rushing TDs in 15 games with crap at WR. He will start next yr. Hopefully Angelo will give him some tools to use. Peace

How to better utilize Olsen
Orton was over 60% completion rate before the injury. He spoke of the biggest change he made this yr was to his footwork. The injury negated his footwork. I think he will look much better next fall when he returns healthy. Peace

Kyle Orton
The Bears are not getting McNabb. Peace

Kyle Orton
Orton looked good today. He will most likely be given the job next yr. Wait until 5 or 6 games in before deciding to extend him. Bring in a vet to compete with him (Garcia is my choice). Peace

The Positive Side
Let me ask you this - Marnelli or Babich? Let's assume Angelo tells Lovie he has to make a change. If you are Lovie, don't you tell him you will do it only if you get your original choice? Peace

What we should do next year...
I agree - Babich must go. Peace

Embarrassing
Manning was part of the 2 plays that cost the game. That being said, he is a very good KR and has improved at nickle. Just get us a real FS. Peace

What we should do next year...
Anderson is getting paid a rookie contract of a 5th rounder. He's not making anything compared to the others. Peace

Embarrassing
Sorry to hear that. Pick another team if you are leaving. I hate the eagles.

Greag, Great article on Mike Brown
Damn am I torn on this one. He is my favorite Bear and I would love to see him retire here but it is clear he has lost a step. Further, it is clear Payne is no FS but he did look very good at SS. This is going to be a tough decision up at Halas Hall. My favorite quote in the article: Said center Olin Kreutz, one of two players remaining with more tenure: ''He's one of those guys that once you have him in your locker room, you should never let him leave.'' http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-bear26.article Peace

Worrell is back

Does NYG show up this Sunday?
We were talking talent levels and IMHO the Queens have more. I agree that we would beat the Queens six out of 10 times because I think their coaching staff is a lot worse than ours which is saying alot. I also agree that we need a #1 receiver. The group we roll out every week is the worst in the league - hands down. Peace

What's your poison ?
Did you ask a question? Sorry I was distracted. Get me Whoseyourmamma and resign St Clair to be the swing tackle or LG going forward. Draft O-line in round 1 or 2. Draft a pure free safety in the top 3 rounds. That would make me happy. Peace

Merry Christmas to all
Merry Christmas everyone. Be safe out there. Peace

Does NYG show up this Sunday?
Alright. I'm fairly sure if you asked, 70 to 80% of all NFL analysts will say that the Queens have more talent than we do especially at the top of the roster. Hell, they were picked by most to win the division. Who do we have to compare to AP? Forte is very good and I like him a ton but he is no AP. Then you add the fact they have Taylor as well. Who do we have to compare to Berrian? Hester may develop to his level but he is no where near there now. Who do we have to compare to Jared Allen? Brown and Ogy are good players but no where near his level. Who do we have to compare to the Williams wall? Tommie can be an outstanding player when healthy but thats only 1 of 2. The only unit where I would say that we are better is special teams. Don't get me wrong, I hate the Queens. I hate them more than the Pack. IMHO, however, they clearly have more talent than us especially at the top of the roster. Peace

Hey, thanks for basically calling my post a load of crap. Merry Christmas to you as well. Peace

Does NYG show up this Sunday?
The question should be do the want to beat the Queens now or later? If they lose to the Queens they may have to play them again in the playoffs. If I were the Giants, I would much rather eliminate the Queens from playoff contention and risk having to play the Bears. Williams may be back in time to play in the playoffs and AP is capable of going off at any time. The Bears simply do not have the talent the Queens do. Peace

My post-week 16 mock
Here's what I see happening: - Williams at left tackle after his redshirt yr - Beuning and Beekman fight it out for LG - Kruetz at center - Bears draft a RG in the first 3 rounds - Tait gone; St Clair resigned to play RT Bears draft a RT who looks good enough to start. Possibly St Clair takes over LG and Beekman moves to RG. Just some thoughts. Peace

Looks like Lovie lit a fire...
I agree that Lovie has not got the most out of his players. Hell, I would argue Ditka did not either. Ditka should have won at least 3 Superbowls with the talent he had. There is no correlation between firey and winning just as there is no correlation between stoic and winning. Let me ask you this - would you want Ron Rivera as head coach? I would argue he is more like Jauron/Smith than Ditka/Cowher from a personality stand point. Sure he shows a bit more emotion but is also can be very thoughtful. He doesn't teeter on the wild eyed edge that Ditka and Cowher have shown. Peace

Our Season is over......
He's an analyst just giving his opinion. Glad to see he is doing his job. Peace

Rashied Davis
Marty was a great player in his early yrs but he is done. Time to move on. Peace

Looks like Lovie lit a fire...
Great story - thanks. Sounds like you had a great college football experience. Will disagree with you on the type of coach we need. I want a coach who gets the most out of his players. I could care less about his temperment. Peace

Detroit reporter is an arse
Well, at least he apologized. He's lucky he hasn't been re-assigned to the obituaries. Peace
-
That was incredible
Bennett was wide open on the 1st possession but Kyle threw to Lloyd who slipped. I did not notice him after that. Peace

We need this
I shpuld have clarified. I meant the coaching staff was the major blocking point here. Peace
