  1. You are the one who thinks that Bradley has a vagina. Just sayin.... Peace
  2. Predictions: We will carry 4 RB and 1 FB this yr. AP will be the special teams captain. Peace
  3. Please no. I do not see him as an improvement to what we have on the roster. Peace
  4. With the offense we have, this lack of respect is is expected. Peace
  5. I expect them to keep him around in camp to make sure we have no injuries and trade him just before the start of the season. A 5th rounder would be fine as compensation in my opinion. Peace
  6. The Packers will not release him. They will trade him to a team like the Jets. No way does he end up in our division on another team. Peace
  7. Turnovers breakdown as follows: Brown has 11 FF and 3 int. Wale has 9 FF. I am wondering if Wale's contract shoots up big time next yr and the Bears are thinking of letting him go at the end of the yr. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree as I don't have an issue with either extension. Peace
  8. You stated the Bears had not done 'dick' with the 31 million in cap space. I was simply letting you know that yes they had actually been very busy and have spent most of their money. I would have loved to see them go get a Fanaca but I know the policy of Jerry and company is to reward there own which they have done. Peace
  9. 31 million in cap space and we didn't do anything with it??? Let's see: - Alex Brown extension - Rex Grossman extension - Kyle Orton extension - Robbie Gould extension - Lance Briggs extension - Rasheed Davis extension - Desmond Clark extension - Tommie Harris extension - Booker signed for 2 yrs - Lloyd signed 1 yr - All rookies signed except Williams I'm probably missing someone in there. You may not agree with what they did with the money but they have followed their policy of taking care of their own. I think we still have approximately 3 million left to the cap (outside of the rookie cap). We will use this money by November to extend Hester or Url. Peace
  10. Got this thing in the NFL called a salary cap which makes giving them whatever they want not possible. The offer on the table to Url is more than fair considering he has 4 yrs left on his contract. Peace
  11. I would be extremely happy with these #s from Forte. That's approximately 16 carries a game which most likely leaves 100 to 150 between Peterson and Wolfe. Peace
  12. I think Favre is a dipstick and should stay retired. I hate the Packers but I think he is thoroughly screwing them. As a said before, the dude needs a hobby. Finally, as great a player as he has been, I do not want him on the Bears. Peace
  13. Please give him being childish with this request. To my knowledge, Brian has hardly said anything at all about this in public. Most of the news has come from sources. The only action that he has taken was skipping most of the voluntary workouts. Not that I agree with his demands. I just don't see him being childish. I would call Briggs actions last yr childish. In fact, he was a complete drill rod. One clarification - I believe the offer the Bears have put on the table is more than generous. At this point they should tell Brian this is there final offer and they expect him to honor his contract. Peace
  14. I would agree with this statement. We could talk about it anyway you like. Hell, I would argue we should really talk about JA since Lovie's hire since Jauron was not his coach of choice. Point being, we will simply have to agree to disagree. Peace
  15. During the 6 yr period, Washington is 1-2 in the playoffs and has not made the division championship game. During the 6 yr period, Cincy is 0-1 in the playoffs. During the 6 yr period, KC is 0-2 in the playoffs. During that same time the Bears are 2-2 in the playoffs with an appearance in the Superbowl. I would say that is definately better than all 3. Peace
  16. I really don't think Brian has done a very admirable job as the team leader at least in the role of face to the public. He is very uncomfortable in front of the camera. He can tend to act childish when he is upset (case in point last yr). I think he would love to fade into the background and let someone else take that role. Tommie would be the perfect choice. I would love to see someone on the offensive side of the ball step into this role. Peace
  17. Got to love Mike Brown. He is probably my favorite Bear on the current roster. That being said, I am hoping beyond hope that one of the younger players on the roster is ready to step up into his role because we simply cannot depend on him staying healthy. Payne or Steltz - I really don't care who it is. Peace
  18. Agreed. Happy 4th everyone. Please be safe out there. Peace
  19. His contract was up. He was getting 1.5 million a yr but getting killed in the ratings. I think after 16+ yrs, people were tired of his act. I am extremely happy Mully and Hanley are getting additional time out of this. They are great when talking about the Bears - my favorite topic. Peace
  20. I think we will have to agree to disagree. The only one I might be swayed on would be Tennessee. Washington has flat out sucked proving you cannot fix a team with just money. Cincy is an embarassment of an organization with all the player personnel issues they have and they do have a crap load more than us. Plus, they have more talent than us but what have they done??? I could see arguments for the other teams but if you think these two teams are on equal footing with us, then you don't think much of our team. Peace
  21. Exactly. We're upgrading the 'turd sandwich' that was our offense last yr. Peace
  22. This guy really, really needs a hobby. Peace
  23. Only Williams left!!!! http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=4844 Peace
