In a heartbeat. Peace

If you want Haas over Booker be my guest. Haas has never played an NFL down. Booker is a successful vet receiver who has shown he knows how to produce. I'll take Marty. Peace

12 days, 14 practices. I think St Clair is getting very close to being our starting LT. I am very, very worried. Peace
-
There are only 3 QBs on the roster. I do not see Hanie playing more than a quarter. They need to have both QBs get reps with both the 1st & 2nd string. Peace

Good to hear you are doing well. Take care of yourself. Peace

There is no doubt in my mind - Marty Booker has to make this roster. He is your only true veteran receiver and will be the locker room leader of the receiving corps. Really, the choice for me would come down to Bradley and Haas. Bradley has been injured multiple times as a Bear and has shown us only glimpses of his talent over 3 yrs. Remember, last yr he hardly saw the field. I say whomever wins out in preseason gets the roster spot. Peace

Welcome back!!! Where have you been hiding? Hope all is well with the family. On the topic: I am simply amazed this is happening. The Packers management has really screwed the pooch here. They should have dealt with this at an earlier time. I am not defending Favre. I think he is as much to blame as the team. All I can say is WOW!!!!!! Peace

Columbo did return. He blocked the FG against the Titans I believe. He also got demolished at LT by KGB during his last game as a Bear. Peace
-
I think we are getting dangerously close to him not making an impact this yr. This could be a disaster. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=4946 Peace

Favre has made this a mess for his team. I'm loving it. Peace

Great - thanks. Talk to everyone Thursday night. Peace

Here are some of highlights. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGFY5cafLTg I will never forget when he had the 2 ints in OT back in 2001. Great, great moment as a Bears fan. Peace

I figure we will want to talk. Who has the link to the old site and can we still use it? Peace

I think he is going to end up on the PUP list and miss the 1st six weeks. Peace

Pix - you are right that people have a right to boo whenever they want. However, I also have a right to tell them I think they drill rods and piss poor fans. I have no issues with anyone booing Rex for a bad play. However, anyone who boos Rex coming out of a tunnel is a friggin turd in my humble opinion. This kid has done nothing but work his arse off to try and get better. He doesn't shy away from the media. He could have taken the easy road and left at the end of last season (this is what I would have done). You may not like his performance on the field but the kid is a class act in my opinion. Peace

Panthers send Smith home after fight with Lucas

Smith forgot that the 1st rule of fight club is you do not talk about fight club. Peace -
I would agree. Griese cost us the games against the Lions. He was supposed to be a game mgr but he had way, way too many turnovers for that role. Peace

The Bears are going to keep 4 rb and 1 fb on the roster. AP is most likely going to be a pure special teams leader. In fact, I expect him to be names special teams captain b ut his role on offense will be limited. Wolfe best chance to succeed is as a change of pace back. Look for the coaching staff to give him that opportunity this yr. Peace

Rex got booed coming out of the tunnel. It's really too bad that people continue to unload on him considering some of the POS we have had at QB in this town. If you don't like Rex fine, but boo him when he makes a bad play, not coming out on the field. That is not the type of fan I would want to be known as. On Kyle, I would love to see him step up. I know he doesn't have the ceiling that Rex does, but he can be a very good game manager and this may be what we need right now. Peace

Although his kickoff distance is not great, it has been much, much better than Edinger. I think Edinger may have had 1 or 2 touchbacks his entire career. Gould had 7 in 2006 and 3 in 2007. If he can improve at all that would be fantastic. Peace

Nice article on GW. Sounds like he realized he needed to dedicate himself. I, for one, hope he sticks and provides an impact. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-bear02.article Peace

This explanation is much better. I really dislike when people generalize and then don't clarify. You did - thank you. Let me add - I was extremely disappointed Angelo did not draft a QB this yr. Maybe Hanie will work out but with Angelo's track record most likely not. Possibly next offseason they will go after a reserve on another team (someone like Jake Delhomme when he was with the Saints). I simply do not see then going out and spending big dollars on a FA QB. Peace

This seems unlikely for the Bears but interesting none the less

Understood. Peace -
Does this mean you will be state side soon? Peacae

Please tell me when Turner has ever publicly blamed the offensive issue on havin an inexperienced, mediocre QB. Peace
