  1. No question that the turnovers and defensive holding penalties were the difference in the game. Peace
  2. I really was giving my thoughts based on what I think the coaching staff is going to do. I would have played Trubisky in the 3rd quarter today. Fox has already said Glennon is starting this week. Peace
  3. I think it will be either week 5 (against Minny Oct. 9) or after the bye week on Nov. 12. I would say Nov. 12 probably makes the most sense. It give his two weeks to practice with the starters. Peace
  4. Anyone have a status on either player? Also, what the word or Kwiatkowski and Compton? Peace
  5. He will not get fired during the year. That is not how the McCaskey's operate. Further, if Dr. Death doesn't get fired mid-season, no one will. Peace
  6. Please explain why Fitzpatrick get in the game and Trubisky is nowhere to be seen? Peace
  7. And then he dropped a pass that hit him right in the gut. SMH Peace
  8. At least Gentry got come catches today. Hopefully, he can stay in the lineup. It's hard to believe the injury situation has returned. This season looks like it is already over. Peace
  9. They are not coming back in this game so have Trubisky run the normal offense to simply get some time under center. It cannot hurt. Peace
  10. This game is over. There is no reason not to get Trubisky some playing time. If Fox doesn't put him in at some point, he loses all credibility with me. Peace
  11. Both should go but I believe Lewis will go first and Url the next year. Peace

Freeman and White are both eligible to return in 8 weeks. Hopefully, Kwiatkoski can fill the void in the meantime. Peace
  13. Wheaton is healing from his broken pinky finger. He practiced this past week with a cast on. Hopefully, he will be playing soon. I don't understand how we are in the same situation as last year depending on Bellamy and Thompson to make plays for us. Peace
  14. Rich Campbell from the Tribune said this in his article: "As for White, the Bears will put him on I.R. this week to open a roster spot with the understanding that, generally, recovery from a fractured shoulder can require at least two months. By rule, White would have to spend six weeks on I.R. before the Bears could designate him to return. He would have to spend a total of eight weeks on I.R. before he could return to game action." I guess it is possible but I see it as highly unlikely. Peace
  15. The Bears are saying season ending surgery. Peace

I think this is the end of his Bears career. Sorry to see. http://www.nbcchicago.com/blogs/grizzly-de...lFlowFB_CHBrand Peace
  17. You can hate the pick but, hopefully, you don't hate the person. This is absolutely not his fault - just shitty luck. Peace
  18. Beautiful day down by the lakefront. Here is what I saw: - A lot more Falcons fans than should have been and some empty seats which you usually don't see for the first game. - Way too many short passes from Glennon. If this trend continues, Tarik Cohen will be a dead man. - Speaking of Cohen, he is the real deal. However good he looked on TV, he looked even better in person. - Loved seeing the fullback rush for a first down. Great play call. - Defense played well except for the two busted TE completions. Hicks earned his paycheck today. - If Glennon can't play much better than this, then they need to switch to Trubisky soon. I give him credit for the last 2 drives, but he has to get the ball down the field. However, see the next item. - Glad to see Bellamy and Thompson make an impact but hate to see it as well. They shouldn't be in the field but our WR corp sucks. Our running backs and tight ends are going to catch a crap ton of balls this year. Overall, the team looked much better than last year. After the last 3 seasons, it was great to have something to cheer for at the end of the game. Peace
  19. My understanding is that he had a clean medical history in high school and college. Regardless, I don't blame anyone for this. I see this simply as shitty luck. Personally. I am glad Jeffery is gone. I don't want someone on the team that doesn't want to be here. Peace
  20. Love this signing. He was definitely a player we needed to keep around. Peace

No way I keep Bellamy. His hands are horrible. Peace
  22. After seeing Cameron Meredith blow out his knee, I don't want to see any of our starters or impact players on the field much this Thursday. Peace
  23. Gentry may have earned a roster spot with that catch and the Meredith injury. I hate that an injury to a good player opens the door for him but, hopefully, he can take advantage of it. Peace
  24. Alshon did not want to be here. It was best to move on. Let's hope the other WRs step up. Peace
