  1. I dont think he is that far off from 25-40 range. The Bears need a starter at S, so his name is going to associated. He could have transfered but chose to stay at Toledo and knows the NFL will find talent. He's top 10 RAS, impressed at senior bowl, and is similiar to Seahawk rookie Nick Emmanwari. McNeil-Warren would bring that big hit in the box S but can play FS or Nickle. Quinyon Mitchell came out of Toledo, he's pretty good . I dont see Theineman there as much as I want him, so we will be looking at a tier of players that will rank about the same. The Bears brought in FA DTs and DEs, so they might look at locking that open position (safety). I will have many more mocks from now until draft 😆 but I feel safety has strong odds for being the pick.
  2. It depends on the price. If they would take 2 firsts, we'd have a welcome parade.
  3. Banks is one of those guys that you see rare length with athletic ability. He would need a lot of work on his run stop ability and that is what the Bears need most, so it comes down if they feel he can develop in that area. Big boys with foot issues is also a concern. If the Bears believe he can overcome those two issues, he would be a monster for us in the middle. He would also have former gator Dexter take him under his wing. Dexter should have extra motivation going into a contract year. The hard part is do the Bears go DT early after adding free agents. I feel they need to so they have long term talent, but they may have bought themselves a year to fill other positions
  4. Im glad you see it and have shared previously. I've mentioned it a few times as well. The DEs are the big boys that contain while everyone else could possibly attack.
  5. This is not who I would exactly draft but who i see the Bears drafting. McDonald and Young have top 30 visits. Young fits DAs defense, so i can see it. I think we see the DEs roles different from him. He dont want a guy losing his gap to pursue the QB all the time. I would not be shocked to see Gennings Dunker round 2. If Trapilo can man the LT Dunker can.
  6. I think our pick comes down to these players: Kayden McDonald DT, Zion Young DE, Dillon Thieneman S, Emmanuel McNeil-Warren S. Couple sleepers: Peter Wood DT, havent heard anything connecting him to Bears. Makai Lemin WR - bc why not make the offense scarier.
  7. Remember when Angelo found SB studs and then Lovie got GM power and the drafts went to hell. At least I feel better about Ben directing Poles. I want to see him rocking in his chair rubbing his hands again this draft.
  8. I'm with you thinking Safety. Since the draft is for long term, getting a guy who starts as rotational is fine if they develop into a blue chip player especially at a premium position like DE.

Safety choice: Say Dillion Thieneman and Emmanuel McNeil-Warren are both there at 25. Which guy fits Dennis Allen's D and would make the Bears D better long term. I think the EMW hype has dropped, but he has more violence as a SS and that part of his game makes me think Bears. But his flame has dimmed and I think he will be a high 2nd round guy and may require moving down.
  10. I hope they leave it at 3 yrs. Pace would have had us still without picks haha. I would rather keep the picks and find our own Max Crosby, but a Myles Garrett hunting for a superbowl ring would be fun. He would have an elevated play the closer he gets.
  11. Poles has to explore it. Two firsts is as far as they should go. The owners are going to vote on how many future picks can be traded soon. It was 3 years, they want to go to 5. I dont like it, like a auto loan over 5 years.
  12. Aaron Donald was a pressure guy, but teams knew you could scheme him bc of his size and run at him. Its hard to find the right guy. Zion Young has a build/size you want but doesnt have the "it" factor like Bain for pressure/sacks. I would like the Bears to find a guy that teams need to scheme against since we have Dayo who has the size opposote of Sweat.
  13. Campbell graded out well, superbowl wasnt great, but Patriots are not giving up on him yet as LT. Bain won't be a Myles Garrett, but can be a Hendrickson, Freeney, Jared Allen... who all had 32" arms. He has a motor and played against top college competition and produced. He plays for the right defensive coach, he can be special.
  14. I hope they bring in more. They need to find a long term solution, no more center shuffle.
  15. Better not draft Micah Parsons, he has short arms. If a guy can play, and Bain can, I dont care of he has 20" arms lol🦖 If a small school prospect has short arms, pass.
  16. One month out draft with trades. This is also a RAS draft as all these guys ranked in the top except the DT.
  17. Rueben Bain DE would be my "dream" pick. Dillion Thienemen S would be my realistic pick. I dont think they go DT first and then the DEs should be strong to go rd2
  18. He was one of my early on favorites before I learned DA likes to run two 3Ts or wide fronts. That led me to looking at past Saints rosters and noticed the smaller profile DTs. I mentioned it here a couple weeks ago and this week I hear it on the radio and podcasts. It makes me think Bear content creators creep in this forum for our Intel. I dont think we take DT round 1 with FA signings, it will be edge, safety, corner or trade down.
  19. Seen Jimmy Rolder LB Michigan has a visit scheduled.
  20. Why bring Braxton back if they didnt see it. They seen it in practices but game time he resorts back to being lazy when he starts getting fatigued. He is healthy this offseason, so he cam make gains. I think he gets it.
  21. To me they are all in play, bc they all have issues. Braxton has the edge if he can play like he practices. He gets fatigued and resorts back to what led to the Bears going to Theo last year. If he gets past that weaknes, it is his job to lose unless Willis or Armagadjie have a wow factor.
  22. Lets just say the Bears rarely let information out on who they have visits or meet with. Last year most info was not known until after they were drafted.
  23. I know this guy is not known for speed, but I would love to see Josiah Trotter. Feel like we would get a little taste of Butkus.
  24. Look at last years top 30, only one player that visited was drafted, Shemar Turner. The Bears like to throw smoke with who they target.
  25. Looks like competition for Street, but yeah bottom level
