  1. Figured so. Words twisted to get a rise out of a few lol.
  2. Wow, huge signing! ILB just became a force. Pace is doing good work. If we can finish out with Hicks and a S, the D will be revitalized. The draft can bring in reinforcements to bring up the level of competition.
  3. Love it. The guy plays many roles, loved the fridge FB one the most.
  4. If we fill out our needs in FA, the first round will be anyones guess. Wentz or Goff, Elliott, Hargreaves, Conklin, Robinson, Lawson or Spence could be taken. It would be nice if we can get one guy to drop that we have all discussed like Buckner, Stanley, or Jack, but the reality is we take a player that wasnt high this boards radar.
  5. After the Bears had signed him? Or was he speaking before his contract as a team he would have liked to play for? He is on record for saying the same about playing again for Fox too. I think he is happy to be here now.
  6. Probably put him through alot of 3rd down situation type of drills to see if he can be an every down player. That is the biggest concern with him imo. A high first round player, you need to be right on. Ragland has solid written all over him, but can he be a probowler? He should be available at 11 and I think he compliments Trevathan well.
  7. Pace is looking bpa in draft if he gets hicks and another ilb. Elliott, Wentz, Goff? 11 is not looking promising for a need prospect unless we dip down some. CB, S, or Ragland would be reaching but understandable.
  8. No kidding, bit on the big one myself.
  9. Sounds like Shea McClellin is there also. May be signing? Did they hire Lovie?
  10. Sucks, I was so excited to break the news I didn't cross check it.
  11. Edit post. Seen a trade on twitter were Bears got Wilkerson for Bennett and the 2nd.
  12. Using this board I would go: 1. Myles Jack ILB 2. Vernon Butler DT 3. Xavien Howard CB 4. Jayron Kearse SS 5. Tyler Higbee TE 6. Rees Odhiambo G 6. Dadi Nicholas OLB 6 Tyler Johnstone OLT "redshirt" 7. Robert Aguayo K UDFA-Dan Vitale "SB"
  13. Last I have seen it is done, that was time stamped 16 hours ago. Been searching online for something saying it fell threw, but nothing.
  14. Philly already traded up to pick #8 with Miami. I do like the idea, because Ragland seems like the only player that should be available that fits a need. 11 seems a tad to high but there is not many prospects left I am huge on.
  15. Kevin Fishbain ‏@kfishbain 24m24 minutes ago Bears will host TE Jermaine Gresham for a visit per @AdamSchefter. Looked into Gresham last July, per Tribune. Went 18-223-1 in AZ in 2015. You just beat me to this. I think he would be good depth.
  16. Draft pick if it is high enough, but do not cut him.
  17. Subtract 7-8 million for rookie pool. That leaves 18 and I imagine we sign DL, S, Shea, and Z Miller (8+5+2+3). That could go fast, then say we free up some on AJ and trading Bennett.
  18. Philadelphia Eagles ‏@Eagles 9m9 minutes ago #Eagles acquire 8th overall pick from Miami in exchange for LB Kiko Alonso, CB Byron Maxwell, & 13th overall pick. Maybe another QB selection?
  19. The higher the number the better, maybe get a compensation pick out of it?
  20. The Jets: Chris Emma ‏@CEmma670 2m2 minutes ago Matt Forte to sign with the Jets, per @AdamSchefter. Bear fans rejoice!
  21. I think Deon Jones or Scoobey Wright would be the ILB in a 3-4 defense. The websites we all use make it difficult sorting through prospects.
  22. Marshall would be nice, but would cost too much. His contract alone would be 8 million we'll figure. Then figure the value of the draft pick if they take a DT who can become the next Malik Jackson, 10-15 value. The Bears are better off re-signing Shea and drafting a prospect. They are not in a Superbowl or bust mode this year, so build economically through FA and smart through the draft.
  23. I am starting to like Josh Forrest as the bigger ILB, and he is from Kentucky too. He is no slouch in pass coverage either. His combine 40 time needs to be taken with a grain of salt. He was one of the few players that had flu symptoms and should not have run. 6-3 249 33-1/2" arms. 4.78 and 4.85 40 times. I am throwing him out there as a, rd 4, prospect that could possibly bring similiar aspects as Ragland.
  24. Just seen the Bears are favorites to sign Trevathan. He is my main piece.
  25. I seen the Jimmy Graham for Marty Bennett floating around social media. I think Ladarious Green is our next TE FA target after Allen. The Bears need all the blocking help they can get
