  1. Spence? I know OLB like Von Miller can catapult a D, but not sure they go there. The Bears are in good position to take one or two guys around 5-6 round. Travis Feeney from Washington is my guy.
  2. Pretty big commitment he got when we were only going 2 by my guess. Good for him.
  3. The thing with Knighton, Fox knows him. His name would be mentioned if they had interest. Hicks is intersting, but he hasn't produced enough to make me think he is a must. We will double up on 5T's in the draft if we do not get him. I like Vernon Butler a lot at the role as a 2nd rd pick.
  4. The way FA is falling, I want a game changer that fits our schemes. Still have needs at DT, SS, and TE. Depth at CB, OLB speed rush, and OLT. Maybe another G to free up Slaussen to slide over if need be.
  5. I thought Leno did well, but would not hesitate on Stanley either because of that. We may be drafting below 20 for years, so if Pace sees a great QB now, then I would understand the pick. Jay I think has 2-3 good years in him. I haven't kept up on QBs to know much on them, but Wentz seems to have some good things. I like Goff and his quick release, but not sure at 11.
  6. Maybe I am biased because Royal was a ghost. I seen some Wes Welker clutch plays from Mariani and maybe he puts up better stats if they went to him earlier. Either way, one year deal, so I am sure he is cuttable if it comes to that.
  7. I think when it came down to him as one of the only WRs healthy enough to play, he stepped up and looked good. No dropped passes. The guy could give Royal a run at the slot.
  8. #Bears have agreed to a 1-year deal with Marc Mariani. Welcome back, @marcmariani80! ?⬇️ https://t.co/VEZxvrKkyn
  9. I agree, if the Bears are in position to take BPA, and that is Wentz, Goff, or Elliott, no reason to be discouraged. As long as that player has what it takes to be great, we are heading in a good direction. I would love Stanley or Buckner round 1, they can fill a need but they most likely won't be there.
  10. Figured so. Words twisted to get a rise out of a few lol.
  11. Wow, huge signing! ILB just became a force. Pace is doing good work. If we can finish out with Hicks and a S, the D will be revitalized. The draft can bring in reinforcements to bring up the level of competition.
  12. Love it. The guy plays many roles, loved the fridge FB one the most.
  13. If we fill out our needs in FA, the first round will be anyones guess. Wentz or Goff, Elliott, Hargreaves, Conklin, Robinson, Lawson or Spence could be taken. It would be nice if we can get one guy to drop that we have all discussed like Buckner, Stanley, or Jack, but the reality is we take a player that wasnt high this boards radar.
  14. After the Bears had signed him? Or was he speaking before his contract as a team he would have liked to play for? He is on record for saying the same about playing again for Fox too. I think he is happy to be here now.
  15. Probably put him through alot of 3rd down situation type of drills to see if he can be an every down player. That is the biggest concern with him imo. A high first round player, you need to be right on. Ragland has solid written all over him, but can he be a probowler? He should be available at 11 and I think he compliments Trevathan well.
  16. Pace is looking bpa in draft if he gets hicks and another ilb. Elliott, Wentz, Goff? 11 is not looking promising for a need prospect unless we dip down some. CB, S, or Ragland would be reaching but understandable.
  17. No kidding, bit on the big one myself.
  18. Sounds like Shea McClellin is there also. May be signing? Did they hire Lovie?
  19. Sucks, I was so excited to break the news I didn't cross check it.
  20. Edit post. Seen a trade on twitter were Bears got Wilkerson for Bennett and the 2nd.
  21. Using this board I would go: 1. Myles Jack ILB 2. Vernon Butler DT 3. Xavien Howard CB 4. Jayron Kearse SS 5. Tyler Higbee TE 6. Rees Odhiambo G 6. Dadi Nicholas OLB 6 Tyler Johnstone OLT "redshirt" 7. Robert Aguayo K UDFA-Dan Vitale "SB"
  22. Last I have seen it is done, that was time stamped 16 hours ago. Been searching online for something saying it fell threw, but nothing.
  23. Philly already traded up to pick #8 with Miami. I do like the idea, because Ragland seems like the only player that should be available that fits a need. 11 seems a tad to high but there is not many prospects left I am huge on.
  24. Kevin Fishbain ‏@kfishbain 24m24 minutes ago Bears will host TE Jermaine Gresham for a visit per @AdamSchefter. Looked into Gresham last July, per Tribune. Went 18-223-1 in AZ in 2015. You just beat me to this. I think he would be good depth.
  25. Draft pick if it is high enough, but do not cut him.
