2023 Schedule
I figured that it was both, but the thought the Chiefs were scared feels better.

2023 Schedule
It is fun to travel and see many other Bear fans invading a city. I did Nashville on the covid year. KC would be a 6 hour drive, NO would most likely fly, but Bourbon St has been a destination I want to do anyways. Tampa would have been if it was later in the season. I'm trying to hit an away game a year while I'm capable.

2023 Schedule
Anyone see that KC was scared to play the Bears in Germany? It would be KCs home game and they feared there would be more Bear fans in attendance making it a difficult game to Win. Now they are playing the Dolphins on 11/5 in Germany. It worked out for me. I am either going to KC or NO for a vacation game.

A Case for Bijan...
I am not too worried about the defense just yet. I think they can add a DE if they feel the need and most likely look to get Clark or Ngakoue. The offense will take time to gel and then should be exciting. Fields might be handcuffed a little on his scrambles to help him develop his pocket presence.

A Case for Bijan...
Herbert has vision and a gear to get to the next level. I haven't studied Foreman to know, but when Herbert had his turns it was noticeable compared to Monty. It will be a better committee and with Moore in the mix, the safety might need to cushion a little bit.

A Case for Bijan...
I'm even seeing Roschon having big Fantasy value grading as RB2. Foreman and Herbert are not receiving RBs, each had 14 receptions last year. They will go RB by committee, but Johnson ends up with the larger share out of it. The writing is on the wall, Foreman on a one year is a great backup option, Herbert a change of pace, Roschon soon becomes a hot jersey seller wearing Mike Browns #30.

A Case for Bijan...
Google his clocked speed in mph with next generation. When I said his burst, it was in regards to his 40 time. I copied one article. He has a fast 10, then can turn it on. Who knows if he has faster 40 times besides the combinel. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Roschon-Johnson-RB-Texas

A Case for Bijan...
We might have a bet lol, jk. I do think he climbs the chart as fast as his speed.

A Case for Bijan...
I think Roschon can be as good if not better. He may not have the elite burst speed as some others but has been clocked at 22.6 mph once he gets up to speed, he is one of the fastest. That is as fast. Justin Fields at 21.5 and Tyreek Hill at 23.5 for comparison. I am going to put down a prediction that he is starting by game 4.

2023 NFL Draft Redo - What would you change?
He is strong as an ox and pretty smart. He graduated from Yale on their National Honor Society. He played LG in college, maybe they can transform him into a Center since he knows how important studies and film are. He is one of those kids you root for.

Chicago Bears Sign OT, Roy Mbaeteka 6-9 320 a international development signing from Nigeria. Was with the NYG last season at TC. He is very raw, but has the size and athleticism to work with.

At that point in the draft, what does it even matter. We had players signing to UDFA and hoping their name wasn't selected. Bell has a lot to prove and he might surprise us. If he doesn't, are we going to call out Poles? No. If Bell shines great, if not he can develop on the PS. If he is taken, then we better have 4 studs in front of Him that say he won't be missed

This is why Pace was bad. I had hoped he would get it, but he just kept trading away draft capital to move up. Poles, so far knows the importance of those picks. They might not need 10 picks a year once they are solid top to bottom, but then the key is to net future picks if they trade down.

6-3 4.37, I like this kids size and speed. Hope he shows enough that we can stash him on the PS

2023 NFL Draft Redo - What would you change?
Looking at the draft round by round, I have a hard time going different. Maybe because I learned about our picks and like what I read. If anything, I'd tale Zack Kuntz TE over Bell but Bell intrigues me too. 1. Darnell Wright OT- same 2 . Getvon Dexter Sr DT- Tuli Tuipoluto DE? I'm good with Dexter even though i liked Tuli. Tuli didn't score a RAS, maybe that made a difference. Poles said DTs make DEs better, we will see. 3. Tyrique Stevenson CB- Same 4. Zacch Pickens DT - Same 5. Roschon Johnson RB 6. Tyler Scott WR 7. Noah Sewel LB 8. Terrell Smith DB 9. Travis Bell DT- Zack Kuntz TE 10. Kendall Williamson S

That is starting to look like a good team. I will say Braxton Jones improves with Jenkins next to him too and even more so with Whitehair at Center. I remember all the silly missed blocks with Mustispher and Patrick.

NFL Draft Day 3 Thread
Poles said both Dexter and Pickens are going to play both spots. With his height, it may be the plan with Dexter though. I do see Pickens bring more of a 3T, but they have 3 new draftees to get one to take it.

Current Roster
He was signed by Poles for that chance and was healthy with the Rams when cut. The Rams said they cut him because he was going to be buried under younger players they felt good with and didn't want Lewis to become disgruntled. Time will tell but he could be a rotational pass rusher that gives us production.

If the Bears feel like they need another TE, Mercedes Lewis could be in play with his familiarity with Getsy. He is up there in age, but Kmet, Tonyan, and Lewis would be a nice set until they can address the position in the draft.
-
Current Roster
With Michael Ojemudia at CB, who we picked up late, I think Terell Smith can go S. Also, I don't discount Terrell Lewis at DE as a pass rusher. I believe he wasn't used properly with the Rams as he dropped back into coverage more than attacking the QB. We will find out were he slots TC, but I thought he'd be a good prospect the year he was drafted.

He is young too. If he be coached up on his flaws, he will be beast with his size and speed.

NFL Draft Day 3 Thread
Next year will be the year they invest at DE and they will gave draft capital to do it. This year they bolstered the interior which makes the DE job easier when the pocket gets collapsed. It is a process but getting addressed. I like this Travis Bell and think he will grind his way into making some plays down the road.

UDFAs
Looks like they are happy with their current DE depth at least on the low end. With the addition of Demarcus Walker and the guys they had before, I figured they would draft one round two.

NFL Draft Day 3 Thread
That could be. I will trust Poles, Cunningham, and Flus on this kid if they thought he had the same upside or more. Now to see how they shake out in camp. Hope they make our DEs jobs easier like Poles said they should and we see more sacks.
