Just a good 5 or 6 minute drive would make me feel good about possibly winning the game.
-
59-21 in total plays. Not pretty
-
Totally agree. I don't feel good about the game yet
-
Everyone has been talking about the "potential" of wright and Wheaton for a long time. Neither has done done much in there careers. Wheaton has 0 catches this yr
-
Ok fine. If you seriously want to think this wr corps is better than last yr fine
-
This defense has a problem with getting off the field on 3rd down. Horrible call by Ron Rivera to go for it on 4th down. We seriously need a long sustained drive by the offense
-
Neither is Meredith lol. But the other issue isn't the players. It's the play calling. My whole who's who's point was this wr corps is not the same or better than last yr
-
Exactly. And name me 1 player on this roster that's as good as Meredith
-
Well at least the red zone defense stepped up and only gave a fg. I sure hope fuller is ok
-
This isn't the same WR crew from last yr. This yr is even worse. But I agree they need to let trubisky play
-
Eddie freakin Jackson again. Damn did the defense come to play
-
Yes sir. Still have doubts. But if they continue to get takeways then I'll say they are
-
Agreed. Just terrible. Let's hope he can hit from 51
-
Another sack and another 3 and out for the defense. So far the boys came to play. Need the offense though
-
Yeah 3rd and short is not the place for that throw
-
I'd say. 2 sacks, TD and a 3 and out in 2 defensive series. Fantastic start. Hopefully the offense can do something now
-
Danny trevethan sack started off good but then defense looked soft will until Jackson stepped up for that TD. If this defense is going to start creating turnovers this could be a special D
-
Top 3? Yeah I just don't see it. Our defense has very much surprised us but not even a to 5. I would want to see more performances like last week before I could go there. We have struggled creating turnovers until last week where we doubled or yearly total in the 1 game alone. If we can start consistently creating turnovers every game. Even if just 1 and then sprinkle the occasional 2 or 3+ then I could go top 5. I don't know the stats but it seems like 1 of big areas the defense has improved by leaps and bounds would be the red zone defense. I can remember several times the offense turns ball over and defense has an extremely short field to work with and walk away only giving up 3

The 2 situations are completely different. Trying to link the 2 together is quite the stretch. For starters it was public knowledge Jeffrey didn't want to bring here unless we robbed the bank to pay him. Funny no one else did that and he was stuck signing a 1 yr prove it deal. We were the only team offering him a long term deal. Now with fuller. Can anyone find me a single team that would have picked up that 5th yr option after what he has done prior to this yr? Of course not. Many questioned why he was even still on the roster. So don't tell me how he's been treated horribly because we didn't pick that option up. And he missed all of last yr on an injury that shouldn't have even kept him out half the yr. So ppl calling him soft it's actually justified. And the more important aspect is $$. To sign fuller long term it won't take anywhere near the type of $ that Jeffrey wanted so I don't see that being an issue

Rodgers injured, broken collarbone on throwing shoulder
bowlingtwig replied to adam's topic in Bearstalk
Do I take pleasure in knowing that Rodgers hurt? Hell yeah I do. Then they can feel like we do just for a few. I'm right here if he wants to interview lol. It's actually funny at work. My company is based out of Madison, wi so of course they are all packer fans along with my whole family (except my kids. I raised them correctly) and before that injury to Rodgers everyone wanted to talk football with me. And now no one does. Not even my dad and we talk for hours every day but no longer about football. It's quite hilarious -
Unfortunately the star QBs have been treated like this for a long time. If they get sneezed on the refs would throw a flag so of course when they get hit a and 1 isn't thrown the all bitch. And unfortunately we've never had a star QB so we've never gotten those types of calls
-
I'd be willing to bet that your right. All throughout camp he was rarely ever at center
-
Unfortunately right now all of this is on whitehair. Grasu is currently injured again so whitehair just needs to overcome his issues one way or another.

Rodgers injured, broken collarbone on throwing shoulder

That oline is mediocre when fully healthy. They thought yesterday getting both bahktiari and bulaga back things would start to turn. But bahktiari reinjured his hammy again and bulaga now has concussion they just screwed. I'll never argue how great those 2 are. My whole issue with them isn't about them. It's the media. At least with Favre they had no problem pointing out when he made a mistake. But with Rodgers they all ignore it and pretend how he can't do any wrong. 1st half last yr he was having major accuracy issues and while my own family (all packer fans) saw it the media completely overlooked it and then Rodgers got stupid hot 2nd half of yr and the media acted like he couldn't do any wrong. It gets really old after awhile -
Your spot on 2 players. No separate designation
