Your right I have to talk to ppl my dad's age who was old enough to remember the last time there really struggled. It's extremely rare to go from 1 HOF QB to the next without some thing in between. It's never happened 3 times in a row so there's an excellent chance they will struggle. My fiance who is a packers fan has been saying since the season started that he wasn't going to last half the yr with that oline. So when I called her yesterday she wasn't shocked at all

Definitely more play action. The run game was working perfectly. Just a couple here and there would get the defense at least respecting the pass

WR is obviously the biggest need. But regarding white who knows if he would be an upgrade. We've honestly never seen him play. So we just have no idea at all. If Meredith is healthy then that is an upgrade as we know what he can do. However I thought we had the worst WR corps prior to all the injuries so it's not like it would be that great.

We have more than enough cap left right now. It doesn't make sense cutting all these guys right now unless your bringing in someone who can provide a upgrade right away. Waiting until after the season is actually a better idea. It's not like we are going to be playoff contenders this yr any way.

I'm livid with the play selection. I'm glad it worked out in the end but calling for a run straight up the gut when there is 10 in the box. Your just not going to get much with those calls. We got lucky the defense bailed us out. Special shout out to fuller. My god was he all over the place. I don't know what the final #s look like but he allowed 1 catch although he was targeted around 12 times roughly. And how many pass break up did the dude have. Definitely his best game overall. Now maybe next game loggains will take the damn kid gloves off trubisky. Otherwise there's no sense in having him out there.

I thought it was a completely legal hit. Yes it's the same injury as 2013. Only difference is that yr was to his non throwing shoulder and he missed 7 games. This time it's good throwing shoulder And I have no sympathy for them. Mainly because I am so sick and tired of ppl saying how much he's a God. Never does any wrong. He misses a guy by a mile and all hear is excuses of how it's not his fault. It does suck for the league. I was looking forward to seeing him in Chicago. Instead it will be hundley I guess.

That was a total BS call against Jones. He has to be allowed to hit the ball carrier. I'm glad these trick plays are working but can we please take these kid gloves off of trubisky and let him play otherwise what's the point of him playing at all

Trubisky's #s against the blitz were bad but I want to believe that's more a byproduct of the personnel surrounding him. Hopefully Gentry gets some real playing time and like you I think Shaheen needs to have a bigger presence as well. When I watch GB and Rodgers is under severe pressure you always see his receivers immediately break off route, come back to the ball and finding a way to get open. That's what makes him so dangerous. We need that same thing. Especially with how accurate trubisky is even on the run he could dice up teams if that starts to happen

I had that same thought a couple weeks ago and when I brought it up I was shot down. I've never seen 1 team have this many injury problems 2 straight yrs like this. Send a little much to be just coincidence

Completely agree. Did does seem lost out there and loggains doesn't have a clue how to formulate an actual game plan. I was getting bored watching the game because outside of a couple trick play we all knew what was being called. And they showed 1 stat that when the offense is in a single back 2 WRs and 2TE formation they have run out of that 22 of 25 times. That's predictable

This draft doesn't look to bad so far. Jackson was out there holding his own and making plays, we've seen what Cohen can do and trubisky didn't look bad at all. But over all I do agree. We need some body on offense to step up. Hopefully that starts to happen with trubisky in there. Whitehair needs to removed from center. For as good as he was last yr he sucks this yr. And on defense look no further than all the injuries stacking up at ILB. Christian Jones can't be called upon to call out plays and stuff. Hopefully trevethan coming back next week will help that a little. And was this the game that sparks Floyd?

Completely agree. Whitehair just plain sucks right now with the snaps and no receiver can get open and loggains isn't even trying to call anything to push the ball down field. I'm really disappointed with the fact we don't even see Shaheen and Wheaton has 0 seperation

I love what I'm seeing from trubisky. He looks good. But way to many mistakes on the offense with the garbage penalties. Especially the white hair hold. They will call that every time. The OPI was a little tick tack but they do call that occasionally. My biggest problem is the play calling. It's wayyyyyy to predictable and 3rd down calls are constantly called short of where we need to get. Fox better lay into these guys otherwise he's going to be looking for a new job

One of the main reasons he was taken 2nd overall is solely because of his position. That's just the nature of the business now days. If your QB and ppl "think" he can possibly develop into a franchise guy then your going 1st Rd almost guaranteed these days. But in the end none of this matters. Fact is that he is starting Monday. That's it. End of story

We are seriously arguing because trubisky didn't start week 1? Answer me 1 thing. Does it even matter if he started week 1, week 5 or even didn't play at all this yr? The majority of everyone outside of a few knew this was going to be a bad yr and that was before the rash of injuries. Would things be magically different if trubisky started right away? Probably not. If he turns into a franchise QB and takes us to the promise Land will you guys still be pissed because he didn't start the 1st 4 games his Rookie season. I'm just going to guess that you won't be. See in the end it doesn't matter at all if he started week 1 or 5. It's that simple

Hopkins is better than every single receiver on our whole team combined. Sure on paper we have better TEs but how do we know for sure. Our TEs have barely even been used except for blocking. Hopkins is that top notch playmaker. And Lamar miller is pretty good as well. Right now we only have 2 guys that are good and Cohen is rookie back up. And I'm willing to guess that we will see his #s go down with trubisky in there now just simply because Glennon looked at him every damn play where trubisky will be looking to use his receivers more

Watson has something that this time won't have this yr no matter how you slice it. He has real NFL style wide receivers. Actual play makers. Your counting your chickens without them even being hatched. We can't assume trubisky will come right in and save everything. He's not Rodgers or Brady yet.

Please give me whatever your drinking. Change of qb isn't going to magically save the season. I still think at best we are 7-9. More likely 5-11 or 6-10
