I never thought our go to receiver would be tarik cohen. Good to see he continues to bounce right back up after every hit he takes but can we stop trying to get the little man killed out there and start using actual receivers on a play that goes further than 5 yards down field

After that 1st defensive series the defense has been on point. A little bit from everyone. That's a very good sign. Especially big RHH. Goes from possibly not making the team to not only making it but playing significantly and coming up with big play

I know I thought that was a bad decision to kick it to. Certainly didn't think he could hit from 54. I will say ever since they brought in arguayo he's been very good.

Everyone keeps repeating the worn out line of "win the TO battle". Is everyone forgetting how bad we were at doing that last yr and please don't tell if it wasn't for the injuries blah blah blah. The start reality is we suck at creating turnovers. We went out and got prince and demps and then drafted Jackson thinking that will solve the problem. Well we continued to suck at it during the preseason and now please prince is out. I just don't have a good feeling about the game. I do agree if we have any chance of winning the game or at the very least being competitive we need to run the ball and stop there running game. Which I think we can do however Mattie ice was extremely good against the blitz. I've got real doubts we can cover the spread. I think we can keep it competitive but it gets away from us late. Here's hoping I'm wrong

Fox and others around the team even said they are surprised at how quickly he picked things up and how he just gets it. And doesn't get rattled. Bodes well for the future if he can keep this up. What I really want to see is the 1st few weeks I want to see the oline pass protection. I need to feel good about that before I ever even think about putting trubisky out there. If they can't protect Glennon then I don't want to see trubisky. We've seen all to often how many QBs get ruined because of bad oline play. And while yes on paper this is going to be a great line I need to see it especially ppl like sitton and long actually play and stay healthy. I very much question this oline but they can shut my doubts up rather quickly as well

Yeah I'm stunned to. We already have 1 of the worst WR corps I've seen in awhile. He performed throughout training camp and also showed it in the games. If that's not enough for him to crack the roster then I'm really really confused

I watched almost every game of his being a Notre Dame fan. Some here have even called me a homer. I certainly wouldn't lay his issues at the feet of the receivers. They didn't help but his issues we're so much deeper than that. Remember during his 2 yrs being the starter he was all over the place. A few exceptional starts that made us all believe he was a star in the making and then a few that really made you scratch your head and wonder WTF. It's not like he was throwing to complete bums either. 1 of his receivers was will Fuller who had a pretty good yr last yr down in Houston. Now with all that said you got the nail on the head by saying if he's properly groomed. Well can anyone tell me when the last time Cleveland has ever been accused of something like that. To say Cleveland has been nothing but a steaming pile of dog poop for a very long time I think would be considered a compliment at this point.

I said from before the draft I just had a gut feeling that kiser wasn't going to be that franchise guy so many of the experts we thinking. He was so wildly inconsistent at ND and those guys just seen to get destroyed in the NFL

I seriously doubt we will. Typically we don't. I think we might see trubisky for a couple series but then it's nothing but guys trying to make the roster

Add in that Cruz really hasn't done much and that drop where trubisky hit him straight in the chest just simply can't happen especially for someone who was so good like he used to be prior to all the injuries

Great point. He went 3-6 with the 1's and 7-9 with a touch with the back ups. He still hasn't thrown a pick yet which is good to see although he could have had a couple

What a change we've seen this game. Glennon looked good while now trubisky simply hasn't looked good at all.

Glennon started well but after the cam injury the entire offense went down as well it seemed. Now hearing cam is a torn acl. Big loss. Good to see Howard in there today looking like the same guy from last yr. Regarding the defense that front 7 looks to be really special but the secondary is going to be a major weakness. How in the world do you allow a 1st down on a 3rd and 31. No excuses for that.
