Lol, if I would have started Smith like you said instead of Thompkins, then I would have won by 0.23. I lost by 8.37 instead.

Earlier in the offseason, they were talking about Britton as being one of the seven for the weekly roster. I'm guessing this may be more of a norm through the season. I also heard them say 8 at other times. Who knows.

"Offensive guard Kyle Long has words with Bengals outside linebacker Vontaze Burfict after a run by Jay Cutler for some yards during the fourth quarter. — Nuccio DiNuzzo, Chicago Tribune, Sept. 8, 2013" Long is every where. After every scoring picture you can either find him with the guy that caught it or Cutler. The guy is photobombing all over. Dude really gets in the game.

Thanks. This is just the first year in a while I have had high expectations for the bears. I was looking at little things instead of the overall product, and I liked what I saw. Cincy just played some great Defense and utilized their weapons in the first half. I'm usually the negative guy most years lol.

This team has improved a lot, even if it didn't look great out there. Bennett came up big on a few plays that the team was missing last year. The line not only kept from given up a sack, but they actually made holes in the running game when needed and didn't get pushed backwards on short yardage. There were so many little things I loved about the offense this game. The Corners were lined up like 20 yards back like last year. Tucker called a blitz on third down near the end of the game instead of trying to just not give up a big play. So many little things i love about this game. I see big things for the Bears this year, but it's one tough schedule.

He's did good this game at it, he finally has blocking this year.

Jay, Jay, Jay. You are in a contract year. You can't do that stuff.
-
That's a 4 yard run we wouldnt see last year.

If it wasn't for 2 bombs to Green, the Bears would be up 10-0.

I'm happy with what I'm seeing. The Bengals aren't giving much, and the Bears aren't turning it over. The line hasn't aloud much pressure. It will take a few weeks for the offense to click, and I'm happy with the D's play. Green is just putting a hurting on them.

Thanks for chiming in, but I am scared of the match up. Cam Newton only threw for 140 yards against them last year. I ended up starting Wayne, Shots and Thompkins. I just read a report that White hasn't cut yet on his ankle and his injury is a little more serious than they are putting out there.

I wouldn't give Baltimore too much criticism. Payton Manning is Payton Manning. He has more talent around him on offense than he has ever had. They also have a really good defense. It won't show statistically this year, because of how productive their offense will be. The Ravens weren't good last year because of Ray Lewis or anything about him. They have a great system that brings in good players year after year. Flacco's contract, winning the super bowl, and so on left them to losing a bunch of players. That's why this year is big for the Bears. They have an improved offense that could be better than the Ravens last year. They have a defense that could be better than the Ravens last year. However, they will lose a lot of players like the Ravens did this year, at the end of the year due to the cap.

I wish I had seen this sooner. I've all over the place on a choice this week. I finally decided and am sticking to it, I think lol... I needed to pick 3 WR's out of the 6 I had. What do you all think? Stevie Johnson and Steve Smith I ruled out early citing Bills QB situation and Smiths match up. I have White vs NO and Wayne vs. Oak, great match ups. Thompkins who I think will blow up this year, Gronk is out, and the Bills are missing their top CB. Cecil Shorts vs. KC. He was solid over the end of last season, Blackmon is out, they'll probably be playing from behind, but Gabbert has a sore thumb if he plays. I even had myself convinced to sit out White or Wayne for a minute lol. EDIT: I forgot to add it is 1 PPR, 1 points per 15 yards, and 6 per TD.

Bostic wasn't out too good on the run if I remember right. I have no problem with him sitting until they think he is ready.
-
I'd been happy if they just cut him this year and had the money next year to help keep players and bring new people in.
-
Personally, I would play SMC the first game with their starting LT being out. He would probably own their back up all game. If their starter was in, I could see Wooten instead.
-
Yea, I would have told you to keep an eye out before the game even started. He was who I was going to pick up tonight before I saw Daniels available. Bad luck for me, but I wanted to see it on the field. He had just the one catch for a TD when I wrote it, I didn't know he was going to blow up fantasy wise in the first half.
-
Personally, I would just keep what you got. I don't think highly of Finley and don't think he would be much of an upgrade. I'd look at your free agency or be patient for drops. It's a position that people will drop to pick up other people. I just got Owen Daniels in my league to hold me over til Gronk can go. Honestly, a guy I wanted to keep my eye on just caught a TD. Even with the immense talent that the Broncos have, Payton Manning has a history of using his TE, Dallas Clark. So I'd just be patient for drops and keep an eye out on Julius Thomas tonight.

They get a D from me. The offense was in the 10 worst offenses in yards 10 out of the last 11 years. They just get points for putting their name on it and Forte from me. They had the benefit of ignoring the offense in favor of the Defense. I'll give them a B on that, since while they presented a top defense a lot of the time, they also had more to work with there as they ignored the O. The year Lovie tried to call the plays on D, it was atrocious. Over all I give Angelo and Lovie a grade of D+ a piece, which is good since all they cared about in Chicago was improving their D. They did with a plus.

Pete and Repeat were on a boat. Pete fell off. Who was left?

Honestly, I think Tillman will be on him and pretty much shut him down. He's 6'4 so I think Tillman will be on him. Tillman is always solid against tall WRs. Eifert i don't think will be a big enough part of their offense at this point of the season being a rookie, having Gresham in front of him and just coming off the injury. He may burn the Bengals on a play but I don't see him as a big part of the game plan. The only reason I replied the first time was so I could say "Does a Bear Webb in the woods?" I live 2 and a half hours from Cincy, so I'll be arguing with them all week around here. I have to go with my homer Bears in a blow out 50-0 because of it.
-
Of course they can, does a Bear Webb in the woods? I expect the Bears to win by 2 TDs Sunday.
