  1. Only if the QB is names Mahome or Rodgers. A few others. It’s nonsense. Unrelated point, Flus sux at challenging.
  2. Literally played for the field goal. Was biting his nails when making the calls. Can’t play in fear. Man up, bitch!
  3. Yep. Play calling isn’t very creative and the line is getting no push.
  4. We drive down the field with no effective running game and Caleb doing great. Get to the red zone and run twice and then try a slow developing pass for a sack. Not ok.
  5. Honestly I have no idea how to feel about this game tonight. We could get our asses kicked or we could win. We’re rightly the underdog here but maybe the offense will play good enough to compete.
  6. Pulled due to photo not copying in as expected.
  7. Full list per Yahoo DT Keith Randolph (waived) DB Douglass Coleman (waived/injured) TE Tommy Sweeney (waived) WR Nsimba Webster (reserve/injured) RB Ian Wheeler (reserve/injured) OL Ja'Tyre Carter (waived) DL Jaylon Hutchings (waived) LB Javin White (waived) WR John Jackson (waived) WR Peter LeBlanc (waived) DL Michael Dwumfour (waived) OL Jerome Carvin (waived) LB Paul Moala (waived) DB Quindell Johnson (waived) DT Byron Cowart (per report) WR Collin Johnson (per report) QB Brett Rypien (per report) OL Aviante Collins (per report) TE Stephen Carlson (per report) DB Leon Jones (per report) DL Deshuan Mallory (per report) S Adrian Colbert (per report) OT Jake Curhan (per report)
  8. Maybe we can track and discuss them here. The Trib is reporting that Rypien was cut. Nothing else at this time…
  9. 25 more early tomorrow. There’s going to be a surprise or two I suspect. The positive is that’s a sign that the team is getting better.
  10. Ha! You could have said Michael or Payton era instead. 😀
  11. Thought I’d bring this to the top. I don’t have HBO so was wondering if the show provided any insights that haven’t already been shared in this thread. Most interested in chemistry between CW and the offensive players.

    Trade for DT

Just having them in the rotation will not only add something different but it keeps everybody much fresher. And the energy level on the team points to everyone believing that this year will be something special.
  13. I like a little meathead in my head coach. Like Detroit’s HC Dan Campbell. He’s got just the right amount. Not sure Flus has any…
  14. Any news on Borom’s injury?
  15. One thing that didn’t stand out to me was poor play from the offensive line. Was it that Caleb moved around in the pocket to avoid the rush (which he did quite nicely) or that the line was playing well. Would love to get your thoughts. I plan to watch the first half again tomorrow so might be able to answer my own question.
  16. Why not? In fact I think it’s a great idea.
  17. If Baskerville pulls off another big play or two he’ll seal his spot on the team.
  18. I’m looking forward to seeing Caleb develop with this top notch group of WRs and a new offense. Great move by Poles.
  19. I read somewhere that without a real agent that’s the way it works.
  20. https://sports.yahoo.com/no-1-pick-qb-caleb-williams-reportedly-signing-fully-guaranteed-4-year-39m-contract-with-the-bears-203006735.html
  21. I’ll watch it but the Bears were dead set against this for a reason. It will not help this team’s development. I just hope it doesn’t hinder it.
  22. Getsy’s offense was dumbed down to start with. Did he dumb it down further? Like Dumb and Dumber?
  23. I agree too. For now. We’ll see this year if Waldron overcomes Flus conservative decisions when the game is on the line. I’d rather die swinging for the fences than pussy out.
  24. The D shouldn’t be worse this year with a pass rush for the entire season. That said, Flus’ decision making skills are in question and if he pisses away two games again this year, HE GONE.
