  1. Not too shabby Lemon. Especially like the pairing of Watson and Williams.
  2. I agree with this 'Mongo' and the other one. ? Not sure 'hate' is the word I'd use for the first pick but highly skeptical.
  3. All the more reason they need to draft a QB this year. (Besides I could've swore Pace once said he's of the opinion to draft a QB every year - but can't find it). As I've said before; we know what Sanchez can bring us - noting, we sorta know what Glennon will offer - a little more based on limited information, and we even know less about what Shaw will provide. Going into this season there are too many unknowns to not draft a QB. If one of the aforementioned fails (assuming Sanchez is signed) why wouldn't you want to at least evaluate what is there as a QB in the draft? What if we do just good enough this this season and aren't in a position to draft what the "experts" will deem Franchise QB material next year? Too many 'what ifs' in my book to settle on these three. For what it's worth (nothing) I found this humorous article. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/rosen...322-column.html
  4. Dude, you're on a roll! Years ago I knew a guy who's nickname was "Rusty Sanchez". That was a name cross similar to your Opie Cunningham. Keep up the jokes Connor!!
  5. Can't say I ever saw that. Oh man! That is hilarious! Lolololol. "Opie Cunningham the sex machine". That is some funny stuff right there. I'm with you; I'd like both Opie and Raheem on the team together. Help keep the sideline lively. "I'm Gumby damn it!"
  6. Damn, you used my own logic against me. You're absolutely right. Fox has done more with less; Delhomme being a prime example. And I think not all that long ago we had a discussion about how instead of drafting a QB Fox has managed to take other teams' QBs to the Super Bowl. Manning (Indy) and Delhomme (NO) being the respecting cases. Drats. Not only will we probably not draft Watson but now we might have Sanchez on the team... ? Did Fox and Sanchez cross paths in Denver?
  7. I don't think you misread the talk of ILB; just the wrong player. As much as I like Boulware I don't think it's because of his great football ability. He's more a team guy who makes occasionally good plays. Foster is a different animal entirely.
  8. Hopefully nothing more than a visit.
  9. I would agree especially since they were alleged to have given a look at Patterson early on. Another element he brings in is his ability to catch out of the backfield. Something Langford hasn't quite been able to master yet. He's not a feature back for sure; more a third down or change of pace back. Why I think he's similar to Sproles.
  10. Why? http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/former-...he-bears-032117 And a funny fan reaction to his visit. https://mobile.twitter.com/NOTSportsCenter/...%7Ctwgr%5Etweet
  11. Are you making a crossed Ron Howard reference?
  12. Former RB for the Rams. So I guess that takes drafting an RB off the table? Not a bad choice. He's more a scat back. Reminds me of Sproles. Definitely different than both Langford and Howard. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2017/03/21/bea...to-1-year-deal/
  13. I agree with getting a big decent HEALTHY WR somewhere early. I have my fingers crossed that White will work out but still would like to see another big body like AJ come in. Beyond that my picks for draft would be (in no particular order) DeShon Watson, Reuben Foster and Jamal Adams. If all thee; spectacular if one or two...just as good.
  14. Or do they? Since being with the Bears, Trevathan has been injured three times (that we know of). Two knee injuries (slight one in TC last year and the season ender in November) and a severe thumb injury in October. Apparently he's had quite the injury history while in Denver. And remember, Pace loves him some BPA. Who among us picked Floyd last year with McPhee, Young and Houston already on the roster? Speaking of the season ender knee issue; then there's this (below). http://www.espn.com/blog/chicago-bears/pos...table-to-return
  15. I'd be curious to see in the last two years of the players that visited pre-draft were actually drafted. Or at the very least what the trend of players there were. Like last year, did they have a lot of OLBs visit (drafting Floyd) and the year before that WRs when they drafted White? Or was it all a bunch of smoke and mirrors?
  16. Guess that leaves us to pick Watson then?
  17. The more I read on Adams the more I think he'd also be a great addition to the team. Decent cover skills, solid hitter and tackler and great field general. Similar to Brown without the injury history? http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/jam...dams?id=2557979
  18. Rest easy "Kansas Comet" and family. All our best to you while you battle this out.
  19. Not that it means a hill of beans but I'd be extremely very much good with this guy joining the team!!!
  20. Was looking for highlight film on this guy and couldn't find anything except from his college days. I did find some highlights of the defense he was a part of in 2011-13(?) of which Fangio coached and DAMN! Those guys were vicious. Seeing their LB corps makes me want us to draft Reuben Foster all that much more. (To be fair their DBs were pretty bad hombres too).
  21. Another positive about Glennon coming to Chicago. It got Rodgers a little pissy. http://sportsmockery.com/2017/03/the-bears...-aaron-rodgers/
  22. Yeah, I'm a no too. And agree with drafting again if the 'powers that be' see it necessary.
  23. Man the comment section to your link is none too kind of Jenkins. Hope he was cheap.
  24. This Hankins guy intrigues me. Just read he's 25 and has a 7 sack season under his belt. Why has he not already been snatched up?
