  1. Agreed. The last two losses easily could have been wins. And what’s more, watching the Pack today struggle against Washington makes me even more confident we can win the second meeting this year.
  2. There’s been a fair amount of chatter on Twitter about interest in Quinn to the Rams. Mostly just people like us so a lot of speculation. But they think since Miller left, a player like Quinn would fit great. Floyd would be opposite him who hasn’t been horrible off the edge. It was noted that if Quinn doesn’t have constant double teams, like he’s seeing in Chicago, he’s probably get more pressures. Besides that he still hasn’t updated his own Twitter page…lol.
  3. Any value, reason or way to try and trade Quinn to the Jets for recently disgruntled-asking-to-be-traded WR Elijah Moore? I’m not in total agreement with Infante here about who the Bears have on the block and think if anything a better Oline piece should be gotten but might be intrigued with a player like Moore.
  4. Ironically the Cowboys are in the same predicament with Rush going 4-0 (until losing last week) in place of Prescott who was injured during the week one loss. In more “positive” news…
  5. It was bound to happen. But Coulter?
  6. Amen. Here’s to Mr Sauce (my new favorite player) and the Jets!
  7. I agree. Not sure if this guy is first round material but maybe 2nd or 3rd? But if he’s a security blanket (of sorts) for Fields why not? Works for Burrow and Chase in Cincy and is working for Hurts and Smith in Philly. And whenever I watch the Eagles play (like last night) I forget they have AJ Brown too. Damn that’s a good offense.
  8. Riley Reiff should be added to the list although it appears he’s gonna be an easy “cut” decision. Wonder why he’s no longer legit considering his 1st round pedigree? Surely he’d have been a better option for a stopgap this year?
  9. Word. And despite his dismal stats, Wilson is still beating the Pack. It’s a good Sunday. ? And Trubisky came in a helped win against TB.
  10. One silver lining is that GB is about to lose to the Jets…in GB. And puts GB at 3-3. Which means the Bears are one game back from them. ??
  11. I would think if he had a better oline and WRs maybe?
  12. Flus was probably the one who chose most of the coaching staff. At any rate, I’ve started watching this dudes videos (after someone here I think recommended it). He’s got some good points about Justin’s progress (and in some cases degradation). He talks early on about Justin’s progression reads then mentions a little about whether Getsy is the problem with play-calling. Haven't watched all of this video but plan on doing so to get a better perspective on things.
  13. Yup. And Pettis (although he scored last night) isn’t much better. Dropped WAY too many catches for being in the league as long as he as. I’m more likely to forgive Jones but he should probably not be fielding punts anymore.
  14. I’m still suspect of Johnson but perhaps his retuned helped others work on some of the basics they need to work on, like Gordon with his tackling (rather than getting burned on coverage) and Jackson being able to roam more (instead of having to cover the top end for Gordon). I’m assuming Vildor played CB or was he at NB? Saw he had some stats from last nights game. I didn’t get to see much of the game but based on what you’re saying, id think that might be part of it. (???)
  15. Can’t say as I blame him. He was hit umpteen times and I only saw parts of the second and fourth quarters.
  16. And now the sloppiness is starting to rear its ugly head. Lots of pure garbage all around (dropped punts, dropped passes, delay of game, missed tackles). This team came out of the gate with lots of promise at the start of the season. They seemed disciplined, full of energy (especially towards the end of the game) and although considered underdogs, played like they could win. Suddenly as we see this game begin to close out, the team is a shell of its former self...only five weeks removed. I optimistically went into this season with thinking they'd win 8-9 games, now I'm not so sure.
  17. Curious why Schofield was in to relieve Jenkins before Patrick went out with an injury(?) Things were looking up at the beginning of the 2nd half...until Jones Jr. muffed another punt. Thankfully Wentz is looking more crappy than Fields is getting rushed/sacked/beat up.
  18. I hope not considering Patrick is supposed to be the starting Center...at some point.
  19. At the risk of being redundant, if Leatherwood does have Mono and got it back in early September he’s probably just starting to become symptom-free. Because it’s such an energy-suck illness it could take him another 2-4 weeks (or all of the 21 day window) to get back up to full strength. Even then his conditioning may be lagging for being game ready . I suspect we won’t see him on the field in the next few weeks. In a related note, I see the team is still holding at 52 (for the roster) with LB Adams on IR.
  20. We might see Jaylon Johnson back and a play or two with N’Keal Harry. I’m hoping he adds another realistic option for Fields. Sucks that it’s a quick turnaround but at least it’s in Chicago. I have more confidence in Fields than I do Wentz at this point. Im not sure he’s the reason they’re losing but I’m certain he’s not the reason for winning .
  21. Not to ‘beat the dead horse’ that is post-game analysis, but since a lot more people seem to be noticing the progression Justin is making, why not continue the vibe? Below is a link to a Bleacher Report story with three different analysis’ of how well Justin did Sunday. The Tom Thayer one is mostly focused on how Kmet is getting more involved and because of it, helping Justin get better. (I’m getting some Mahomes / Kelce vibes). One play he missed but I think was extremely pivotal in evidence of Justin’s improvement was late in the game (think a play or two before the game ending fumble). It resembled the second play Thayer talks about but this time the protection broke down and for half a second you could tell Justin thought about taking off and running. But instead, after talking a step or two he saw Kmet cross in front of him and dumped it for a sizable gain. There’s no doubt Fields is getting more comfortable and Kmet is becoming a big piece is that progression. Of course Mooney’s spectacular one-handed catch also helped. ?
  22. Wasn’t sure where else to put this so I started one. Probably means we’ll see more of Sanborn(?). Think they’ll add anyone else, anywhere?
  23. A sample of what Justin was (and has been) up against. Watch the whole left side of the line and of course Mustipher. (Of who I’m rescinding my support of).
