  1. I subscribe to the Ticket but I didn’t get any notice. Ended up watching the first half on YouTube, several hours later. And man was it glitchy.
  2. (Thinking our loud with a mild buzz but…) Never played Center but curious if he could train to hike the ball with his weak hand?? I know baseball players do that with batting but never really thought about a player like center doing that . Darn his injury being on what I assume is his dominant hand.
  3. 3 days ago there was a Patrick sighting then yesterday he was a non-participant. Gotta believe he’ll be ready.
  4. This was more to the point. I think Mooney benefited from having a capable receiver in ARob on the roster (himself a 1,000 yd receiver x2 while with Chicago). But in that case it was more a reversal of roles where ARob was the #1 and Mooney #2. Now thta Mooney is the only WR on the roster that has any real time with Fields, who on the roster is going to help Mooney keep his stats up, aka draw away attention.
  5. I’m not convinced Mooney is or will be a true #1 WR. If our WR room is such a shambles as it appears currently, it’ll only be a matter of time before other teams figure out how to limit Mooney’s production. When ARob was still around (and maybe even Jimmy Graham) he (they) was able to draw enough attention to allow Mooney the production numbers he got last year. Think someone else said it but with things as they are now, we’re gonna need a healthy (#1 worthy) WR step up. And I suspect that player isn’t currently on the roster.
  6. I dont think Brisker is a secondary player. An argument could be made that Jones, Pringle, Sharpe and maybe Harry are/were all vying for the 2 and 3 WR spots . It would be nice to see more than just the ‘knowns’ play and have those on the cusp too. Yes it’s a good thing the injuries are mostly minor and probably a good thing for them to rest, but will be tough to not be able to evaluate them in game-time preseason play and make the necessary adjustments.
  7. The injury bug continues into Wednesday. Most of the players from your article continued into today . Something tells me not ALL the starters will play the full half this week.
  8. Most of the starters will play most of the first half this week to include Roquan.
  9. Yeah great to see him do well. He’s definitely inspiring. Wonder if his good play weighed in on Roquan’s decision to get back at it?
  10. Meanwhile…3 in the top 100. Not bad all things considered.
  11. I didn’t see the presser but allegedly Eberflus stated that Borom will be the starter despite the addition of Reiff.
  12. Reports are Herbert’s injury was minor enough he was back today but limited. Also Blasingame who had a brace during the game Thursday did not today.
  13. Tonga getting vertical. Maybe he could fill in at Safety? Lol.
  14. Brad Biggs apparently made a comment (haven’t been able to locate it) that he felt a deal could be done before week one and Roquan would be practicing before end of next week.
  15. Rookie C Doug Kramer ends up on IR after a ‘lower leg injury’ they think may be a Lifsanc injury. Brought in UDFA Center Corey Dublin last of Tulane.
  16. Something of note. ‘Twitter speculation’ (such that it is) is that he may not return from Seattle. And that ‘they have lots of picks’ to trade.
  17. Agreed. The kid looked exceptionally sharp. Yea I know it was mostly against 2nd and 3rd stringers but you make the most of the opportunities you’re given. And he did just that. Agree that he might just be able to play in the same spot as Roquan. He was like this in college too.
  18. Like having Simien as backup QB. Think Getsy will do well as OC. Saw some flashes of GB plays that helped Rodgers be successful. One example was on a 4th and 2 play, Simien threw a for a large gain to Pettis then a few plays later for a TD to Newsome .
  19. First half stars: Mooney (on one play), Tajae Sharpe (on a few plays) and Brisker (he’s going to be fun to watch on D). Offensive line still needs A LOT of work. Of note: no Montgomery. Assume he sat out for rest. (???)
  20. First two series (one each a team). Bears 3 and out to include a sack of Fields (by way of Schofield). KC scores after relative little resistance.
  21. Tuned in for the preseason game. Right off I see Nagy yucking it up with Mahomes. Who promptly wandered away.
  22. I’m in the minority here as I say ‘pay him’. Sure I don’t know what he think he’s worth or what’s going on in negotiations. But he’s performing at a high level and should be paid accordingly. He was drafted as a first rounder and has performed at or above that level since arriving. Just a few months ago several listed him as a core player as the team does a remodel. Meaning (at least to me) that you give him him what he needs to help the team make that transition. On top of that, he wants to be here. I see this talk of trade similar to how the Greg Olsen deal went down, not good. Securing more draft picks does nothing more than secure picks of unknown potential. With Roquan we already know what his value to the team is .
  23. In other news. (Stolen from Facebook). Someone asked, where was he in 2018? Lol.
