  1. Just not a feasible idea. You simply can't have a guy just to be a decoy. The defense would watch him as they shaded toward a worthy receiver. Wasted roster spot...
  2. Yeah, Palmer went a pick ahead of Bradford. My league is a bunch of sharks. We are in year 15...
  3. Thanks. I barely missed on a couple of picks. Two of note were Romo by one and Bears D by two. Would have loved that instead of Bengals and Eli. Also had to settle for Bradford instead of Cutler by 3 slots. I'm the only Bears fan in my league. I like it and barely missed loving it.
  4. Geez guys! Is it that bad? You know, "if you can't something nice", like bad...
  5. Sorry to hijack board space with this. This is for a 12 team standard league with a flex position. I picked from the 11 spot. Also note that I'll get 2nd position for the breakout free agents. QB- Eli Manning, Sam Bradford RB – Matt Forte, Chris Johnson, Lamar Miller WR – Calvin Johnson, Antonio Brown, Cecil Shorts, JoshGordon, Kendall Wright TE – Rob Gronkowski, Martellus Bennett K – Robbie Gould D/ST - Bengals I'm hopeful...
  6. No offence taken here. I was just qualifying my previous statement. BTW - I drafted Bennett as my #2 TE. And hate the Cowboys right behind the teams in our division.
  7. For the record, my guy is one of the few realistic Cowboy fans and would place his knowledge up against anyone on this board. Otherwise I would not have thrown his quote out there. And there is a history. Yet, I'm still hopeful.
  8. Check on all accounts. BTW, I have ex wives for this reason...

  10. Agreed. NFL corporate has become a bunch of hypocritical money whores. Exploit the hit and extort the hitter. I think if you lay a fine out on a marginal play, clear intent needs to be established.(and it can't possibly be done) Who cares if he lowered his head, if he didn't initiate lead contact with it. Just reviewed the play frame by frame. No way that hit is dirty. He lowers his helmet slightly before contact after he already knows he's NOT leading with the helmet or making helmet to helmet contact. He's literally 2 feet from the receiver at looking right at him when he starts to lower.
  11. Agreed. (see above)You forgot to put the word the word "ever" in there...
  12. My buddy is a huge Cowboys fan and very knowledgeable and gave me this report on Bennett. "You are gonna hate this guy before the season is over. He can't catch under pressure, doesn't like to get hit and pouts when he's not involved with the game plan." Me, I'm a big believer that people can change. He seems like he's been about business the last year with the Giants and so far with the Bears. I'm hoping he gets at least 5 targets this week against the Raiders. He can be a redzone beast.
  13. Can't help myself sometimes. I'm honestly trying, but it's hard when the responses are unacceptable. Back at ya!
  14. Thanks for your service. BTW - that is worth 6 exclamation points. Not your post title. Out...
  15. Which is exactly why I question Wesson getting a boner with his exclamation points. Just doesn't fit with me. If we go to any of our backups this year, season is over.
  16. And this dude sucks bis ass, so what IS your point? That's my point. Again, absolutely nothing worthy of exclaimation. If you can't take a little ball busting, grow a pair. I thought you were military for Pete's sake. I guess thin skin is allowed there now.
  17. Huge message to Webb too. "We are not just demoting you to have competition and give a guy a look. Your effort/performance is lackluster and if it continues you won't have a job. Get it?"
  18. Sorry. My negative comments are from you painting a false picture of something that's not remotely newsworthy. I felt pranked. We're you genuinely excited or was it simply a lure to your post?
  19. Exclamation points, really? C'mon man...

I agree on the points you made on being encouraged with the staff's ability to draft and the new talent of the right side. What scares the crap outta me is that we have yet to see any of the blitz packages we will see in week one. There will be a huge lack of experience on the right side. Not only does it usually take years for a o-lineman to develop, it takes seasoning of an OL to develop the continuity it needs to succeed. While the feeling of hope needs its day in the sun, reality may be looming in a few weeks. I like the look/feel of things to come though.
