Week 18 Official Game Thread - DET @ CHI, SUN, 3:25PM, JAN 4th, CHI -2.5, O/U 49.5, FOX
If not this year but next year. With 11 wins and playoff bound, plenty other things to talk about.

2025 Schedule/Opponents - Oh boy
I think Laporte getting injured hurt them a lot. A few OL are different this year but BJ being gone is a big hit.

Playoffs!!!
Who would you prefer to face in the first game? GB, SF or LA? IMO the Packers are the weakest of those three. LA lost to Atlanta last night and looked beatable. I least would want to face SF that's running hot right now.

The way both them coaches are risk takers and competitive, no way either relax in this game.

Top 4 Receivers
Wait until Caleb hits his stride, 200 yards more for each player.

2025 Milestones
Billings has fallen off but not due to effort. I seen him several times 30 yards down field chasing players.

2025 Milestones
I agree with your ranking but I don't think a offense on the rise will want to get rid of any weapons. I think DJ and Kmet are here one more year. Look at injuries with the Wrs and even TE, we needed all of them. Poles will restructure money and figure something out with a pass rusher. Imagine the same situation this year without DJ when Burden and Rome out. It would disable us.

Kyle Monangai
The other high picks were put into first back roles. Easley could have his 1000 rushing but adds great value as a 2 headed monster. Probably the best value pick in this draft. In a redraft I think he would be a 2nd round pick IMO.
-
Colston Loveland
He has been solid with his first and second round picks it seems like the third rounders is his boogyman. He also has hit on late rounds. Not all rookies develop at the same timeline. Several other picks could turn into starters.

Playoffs!!!
Their is bo easy path to the SB but just hope we have as many home games as possible.

The 4000 pedestal is like the 1000 pedistal for RBs. It sounds good but isn't really any big deal anymore. I think the TD to intercept is a better indicator of a good QB. I think Caleb is 24-6? I guessed at that so that may not be right.

Agree, that's what Jarrett was supposed to be but obviously hasn't worked out. Booker, Sweat and inside pressure will create a descent outcome.

I think it's wide open between LA, Philly, SF, Seattle and then us. Do not count out the Eagles. SF now has home field thru the SB if they keep winning.

Draft Prospects
This game obviously shows we need a pass rusher if not 2. Poles will attack it just like he did the OL this year. I have faith he manages the money and drafts the DL. He will find a way to bring in a stud but I still don't think he getting rid of any offensive weapons. As the injuries show, we need depth and that's why I think DJ or Kmet won't be leaving in 26. I don't care who he deals on defense if it makes the D better.

Anyone that's wants to file complaints about mistakes or bad, go for it. I can't find anything to be unhappy about. I don't want to miss the joy that comes with 11 wins, Taking the North and making the playoffs. Of course my expectations are high but we have at least one home game. We can beat anyone in the NFC but may lose. Change my mind? We have the Coach, we have the QB, we have a bevy of young good players. Burden-loveland-Monangai- J Walker- Trapillo. The NFL is now about offense and we already have our stars.

SF was the hottest team in the league right now and we went toe to toe until the last play of the game. Our pass rush sucks but SF has the least sacks in the league. We are looking in the mirror to who we are at this point of the season. We have a special offense that's close but we are already so far ahead of expectations it's ridiculous. GB and SF games came down to the last play of the game. You can't get closer than that. We just aren't ready for prime time just yet.

A lot of small things lost this, no one person at fault. We're just not quite ready to go to the SB.

Let's get a 10 minute drive, score and take control. We have forced two punts to a team that hasn't punted in 3 weeks.
