Clearly the noise disrupted the offense and they needed this experience to move forward with. Thuney didnt play and he would matter with the pressure from Jones in the middle. BJ didnt scheme anything so hopefully he would have a better plan when you play such experienced offenses. As normal in KC games, they seem to got a lot of calls that went their way. As Adam said we were short handed on defense and it showed. We didnt have any pass rush but Mahomes was getting the ball out quick, always hard to affect with a pass rush. We are not ready for prime time yet but that makes this a lesson for both coaches and players. You cant be sloppy and expect to beat the Chiefs.

I think they only keep 5 WRs because of the ability to move Loveland to the outside and running a lot of 12 personal. Kiran will be on the roster, I dont think they expose him to waivers. Ruben and Amen will be last 2 LBers. Blackwell hasnt practiced for a few weeks, so I think Nick McCloud could slide in there. The majority of final roster spots will be controlled by who is healthy.

The problem is you cant suggest it in a box. First there is a cost? That in itself would be a determinant that is now trying to build this team with the draft. Trading 2 to 3 assets rocks that boat. Second the cost of the contract he clearly wont play unless he gets it. 40+ mil. They already addressed the position with Dayo and expecting Booker to take a step forward. Those are questions I think they answer before they say (we have a problem) They think they have a high end DE in Sweat that is getting paid a lot of money. They are not viewing last year as his standard, they look to his 12.5 sacks as his norm. We now have an aggressive D coach that will increase our total by scheme.

This is just a healthy discussion because its not going to happen. Teams like Cleveland make trades like this, not a team that added assets on the DL. It would make more sense for a all pro type LT, but like Monga stated once, no star pass rusher has gotten their team to a SB. Parsons, Garrett, Hendirckson, TJ Watt, or Crosby. The only one that actually got to a SB in the recent past was Nick Bosa.

Yes we acquired assets in the DL and Booker-Dexter will get better. Lets see what we got. We had 40 sacks last year and added an aggressive D coach. Adding a 31 yr old (Dec 5) pass rusher doesn't make a lot of sense. Parsons is at least young, what is Trey going to give you ? One maybe 2 good yrs for a 4 yr 40+ contract. That is how GMs get fired doing that.

I want to get to the SB so I have a chance to complain about the officiating. Definitely a lot of mistakes on the ref tree.

I think it would be very hard to find the quality at both 4 WRs and 2 TEs on any team ever. Rams is the only one that would be close. Of course they have to go out and show this quality and I think they will.

Poles doubling down on the highest paid position in football. God forbid something happens to Caleb but at least a high end back up at a reasonable price. Poles does make some good decisions and this is one of them.

Kyle is dinged up and RJ hasnt practiced for a couple of weeks. Should we trade for Brian Robinson Jr? Or is Wheeler good enough to get us thru the season? I suspect if has to do with when RJ is down.

As much as no one has leaped ahead to grab the starting job, we clearly have more depth than last year. It is already a win Not having Borom on the team anymore. The scheme and Caleb getting the ball out on time, makes it harder to sack him. Everything is headed in the right direction.

I think BJ just wants to see a progression with Caleb. The fact its going to be a 16 day stretch before the first game has to be part of the reason.

BJ has a good record against both Minny and GB. I think he will know how to attack them.

I just think BJ was trying to light a fire under Wright. As far as Ozzy he will become the swing T. How many games did our Ts miss last year? The better depth we have the better our team is . Wright contract is up in 26 so having Ozzy sit for two years wont hurt anything. We could trade him next year and let Ozzy take over or just have good depth as we win.
